My Life at International Institute of Information Technology, Raipur

Overall Rating
I got this institute through JOSAA. My overall experience was very good. This institute has strong academic reputation, and the placements statistics are also good. Many good companies come during placement sessions. The institute’s atmosphere is peaceful and calm. Many events and cultural activities take place here.
 

Academics Rating
My course was Electronics and Communication Engineering covering topics like DSA, Network Analysis, Embedded Systems, Machine Learning, Engineering Mathematics, Electronic Devices and Circuits, etc. The entry is through JOSAA Counseling. The eligibility is that you have to complete 12th grade and give JEE. I was interested in electronics department, so I selected this institute.
 

Faculty Rating
Most faculty members have advanced degrees. All faculties clarify each topic in a very good manner and allow us to ask doubts in their free time. Many professors are involved in research activities also. They also provide us information regarding industry trends and recommend resources required for preparation of placements.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell in our institute. It helps students by giving details of companies visiting our institute and requirements for cracking a good placement. The average package is 12 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have residential facility in our institute which includes both single occupancy and double occupancy rooms. We have a total of 4 hostels (2 for girls and 2 for boys). Each hostel has its own mess.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We have a big academic building which includes AC classrooms and all the required labs for CSE, ECE, and DSAI branches. We also have a library which consists of important books for all the respective branches.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life was so exciting. We have many clubs like dance clubs, singing club, technical club, and drama club. We have a big fest in month of December named Technovate. A big crowd gathers and many artists are invited here. We also have many sports events like Aarambh. We are also involved in sports competitions. Many coding related events also takes place here.

    My experience in IIIT Raipur is very good; you get nice exposure and an opportunity to get into different streams and clubs according to your interests.     I am a student of International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Raipur. My experience at this Institute had been good so far and I am a second year student. The Infrastructure is even though it was established in 2015. The campus withholds all the facilities needed by the students and also the seats for each branch are increased from 60 students to 90 students.   • IIIT Naya Raipur's Campus is Situated 23 KMs Away from the Main City

    One thing about IIIT Naya Raipur is that it offers a good career and a balanced campus life. Our Institute is located 23 Kilometers from Raipur and thus travelling or finding some time off campus is impossible. I still remember one entire semester I didn't went out.     The institute is good in every aspect infrastructure. Classes are well maintained with AC and projectors. Labs have computers with good specifications I7 10th gen 8/16GB RAM. Hostels and mess are better than other NITs mess food is good. Girls and boys hostel are different. Double rooms are given till 2nd year and from 3rd year you can choose single room.
