Hello friends, I am Ujjwal Singh an undergraduate student from BIT Sindri doing my B.Tech. This college is a state government college under Jharkhand Government. This is the best and number 1 engineering college under Jharkhand Government. This college is best in return on investment as fee of this college is very less but the placement is very nice. Here in our college the total tuition fee is 15332 rupees per annum and hostel charge is 4200 rupees per month. I took admission in this college because I was unable to score 75% in board examination so I was not eligible for taking admission in NITs and IITs. And after these colleges only BIT is the only best option left in government colleges.

In this college B.Tech and M.Tech course is available for students. In B.Tech, there are 10 branches available, all branches are Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Production Industrial Engineering, Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Information Technology. Eligibility: - All students need to appear in JEE mains examination and should have secured a good rank and have scored above 45% in board examination and a resident of Jharkhand.

Here our faculty is too supportive and friendly. Many of our faculty is from IIT and NITS and they are very talented. They always help us and motivate us to do something great in our life. My favorite professor is BEEE teacher. He is very nice and always helps in I assignment and studies. Our college also has a well maintained CAD lab, Chemistry lab, and BEEE lab.

Yes, we have a Placement Cell named TRAINING AND PLACEMENT CELL and a CAREER DEVELOPMENT CENTRE. It helps us a lot in acquiring a job and internship.

Yes, we also have hostel and mess facilities. Hostel Life is very nice and joyful. Hostel infrastructure is good and the total number of hostels is 30 boy’s hostel and 12 girl’s hostel. Meals provided are of best quality. And hygiene is also maintained in our hostel and mess.

Hence our college is of 1949 the academic block is like BRITISH INFRASTRUCTURE. I like our administrative block it's like a palace. All building is very nice and well maintained and it is renovated in every 4 years. In our hostel water cooler is available and every student get locker attached in table with a single bed.

Campus life is best here as our senior and junior bond is best. Seniors helps us a lot in our studies and assignments. Here crowd is very nice and helpful as we all co-operate each other in everything. There are many clubs in our college like SAE INDIA, MES, IESTE, etc. out of these clubs I like most is PRAYAS INDIA. This club helps poor students in education and funds them for studies.
