Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida - My Review

Overall Rating
JIIT is situated in the main city and the Noida electronic City metro station is only 100 meters from the back gate of college. The academic education provided here is really good and we have one of the largest libraries of the Delhi-NCR region. If we talk about Cultural fest then JIIT is far more behind than the other universities.
 

Academics Rating
JIIT is good in providing quality education. For each subject there are regular tutorial classes and lectures and that is the reason why one has to put efforts to maintain the CGPA. If one can maintain 70% attendance then he can score 6+ marks out of 10 in attendance. Teachers will allow the 60% attendance for someone to sit in the examination.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are really supportive here in both the academic and non-academic things. They are well qualified and experienced. Some faculties are really good at making decent behaviour with the students. JIIT has a really huge team of professors and assistants in all the established departments. In JIIT there are 4 branches in B.Tech. CSE, IT, ECE, and Biotechnology.
 

Placement Rating
JIIT is known for its really good placements but from last years the placement cell is not providing something the student asked for. Companies demand higher CGPA and still not give the assumed packages.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are expensive and not worth the money. Mess food is good only 2-3 days per week.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is really small with almost no sports facilities. We have concrete ground in which we play football and cricket and because of that players get easily injured. But we do have complete clinical facilities come with hostel fees. Most of the staff and faculties are ex-army men so in terms of discipline the college is not quite casual.
 

Campus Rating
We have a large cafe in the campus which provides really good food with reasonable cost. College is situated in the main city so there is lot of other stuffs to do. At last it comes on you how much you can take out from the college. Because we made the good memories from places not the memories from the good places.

    My experience in my institute has been quite good. The major factor which made me choose JIIT Noida is their placements because the average package of our institute is nearly 11 LPA and the median package is around 9 LPA which is far better than other private institutes in India.     From my experience, I would say that the usual environment of the college is that of more focus on studies along with plenty of pockets of opportunities for the students in extracurricular activities through various student clubs and groups and also through the annual fests held in the college.     Till now it has been a smooth experience with JIIT. I will mention both the positives and negatives Positive: good lab infrastructure and qualified teacher. Negatives: poor sports facility.     To my side College is not as good as I expected before coming to college by seeing the reviews and YouTube videos. But it’s an average college with average placement. The Girl to Boy ratio in college is good, you can easily get a partner. The study here is okay but very strict time table.     Overall Rating
    I joined this college on 10+2 merit based counseling which is very fairly done. This college overall I would say is 7/10 for study, 5/10 Hostel, and 6/10 for placements. But what you could get here is very good environment and its present at the most premier location. You can easily get mode of transport for any place.
