Overall Rating
The college has a better infrastructure. It has a main building and many supporting building. There is a separate building for 1st year only. The environment of college is quite good. The faculty can be a bit strict but at the same time they are very helpful. College life is good there are several fests held.
 

Academics Rating
The entry requirement for the college is you should appear WBJEE. The cut off varies from 12k to 50k. The course is quite vast and gives you knowledge of various fields. Also there are many industries integrated experience that gives the real sense that what the industry wants. You have to work hard apart from your syllabus to get a decent job.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is quite helpful. They try to solve all our doubts. They are a little bit strict about attendance so that can be a pain, but overall the teachers are helpful. Also the management faculty is helpful if there is any issue related to your scholarship or any other they try to help you. Also the helping staff is quite generous.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a Placement Cell in college and it helps the students to get placement. Though it isn't that effective.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are separate hostels for both boys and girls. The mess food is quite good and the rooms are clean.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is quite good. There are total 5 buildings in which one is main building and other is supporting building. There is a separate building for 1st year civil and mechanical and data science. Also there are 3 auditoriums in college, 2 big playgrounds, there is a big library, and there is also a gym in campus.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is quite good. Many programs are held time to time such as quiz, extempore, poster competition, etc. Also there the annual techfest and annual cultural fest zeal which is quite famous. Many students from other take part in it. The cultural fest is also quite good. Many dignified person come to share their experience in college.

    The name of my college is Dr. B C Roy Engineering College. It is a private engineering College with 2 different branches (professional courses and polytechnic college). It is overall a good college with mostly highly educated faculty members, modern infrastructure, and average 3-4 lakh per annum placement, average hostel and nice campus life.     I am a B.Tech ECE student at BCREC and I am very happy with my choice as this is one of the best private engineering colleges in West Bengal. The college has excellent faculty, infrastructure, placement, and campus life. The course is updated and covers all the core subjects of ECE.     My Overall review on BCREC is that it is just an average college but its campus is good and big. From my point of view it is very good college to take admission in Durgapur and good placement rate.
