I am a B.Tech ECE student at BCREC and I am very happy with my choice as this is one of the best private engineering colleges in West Bengal. The college has excellent faculty, infrastructure, placement, and campus life. The course is updated and covers all the core subjects of ECE. The college also provides internships and project opportunities from many companies which are based in India as well as from outside of India. The only drawback is the strict attendance and the discipline rules and the high competition among students. I would recommend this college to anyone who wants to pursue engineering and technology.

I enrolled in the ECE course at BCREC because I wanted to learn about electronics and communication engineering and pursue a career in this field. The course covers topics such as digital electronics, microprocessors, signal processing, communication systems, etc. The entry requirement is to have at least 45% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and qualify the WBJEE exam. The course fee is around 1,50,000 per year (without hostel). The faculties are qualified and experienced.

The ECE faculty at BCREC is well-qualified and experienced. They have Ph.D, M.Tech, and B.Tech degrees from reputed institutions like IIT(s) and have published many research papers and books. They use various teaching methods, such as lectures, presentations, demonstrations, assignments, quizzes, etc. They are helpful and supportive and always encourage us to ask doubts and participate in class discussions. They also guide us for our projects and internships and motivate us to pursue higher studies and research. I am very happy with the classes they provide.

Yes, we have a Placement Cell at our institute that organizes campus recruitment drives and invites many reputed companies and organizations, such as TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, etc. The Placement Cell also provides training and guidance for the students to prepare them for the interviews and tests. The Placement Cell really helps the students to acquire jobs in the industry, as the placement record is very good and impressive. The average package offered is around 5 LPA. The lowest is 3.5 LPA. And apparently the placements of ECE are on par with CSE there's not much difference as both of these branches are landing jobs on the same companies.

Yes, we have residential facilities in our institute. We have four hostels for boys and four hostels for girls, with separate buildings for each academic year. The hostel fee is around 80,000 per year, which includes food and other charges. The hostel rooms are clean and comfortable, with attached bathrooms and balconies. The hostel mess provides hygienic and tasty food, with a variety of dishes and cuisines. The hostel also has a common room, a gym, a library, and a medical center. The hostel life is enjoyable and memorable, as we have various cultural and sports events, festivals, and celebrations. The hostel authorities are caring and supportive, and they ensure the health and well-being of the students.

BCREC has a spacious and green campus with multistoried buildings for each department. The campus has a central library, a computer lab, a workshop, a seminar hall, and an auditorium. The main attraction of BCREC is the AICTE Lab which is full of High-Tech machines like the 3D Printer, CO2 Laser Cutter as well as many other things. The campus also has a sports complex, a gym, a cafeteria, a medical center, and an ATM. The campus has a high-speed internet connection throughout the entire building on each and every floor and a digital library. The campus is well-maintained and safe. The campus has a beautiful and serene atmosphere.

BCREC has a vibrant and lively campus life, with a diverse and friendly crowd. The college has various clubs and societies, such as cultural, technical, literary, sports, music, etc. that organise events and competitions throughout the year. The college also celebrates festivals and occasions, such as Saraswati Puja, Independence Day, Republic Day, etc. with great enthusiasm and spirit. The college also has a student council and a magazine that represent the voice and views of the students. Mainly the cultural fests and tech fests are very lively with all kinds of food stalls and much more fun stuff.
