Pursuing B.Sc from Christ University Bangalore

Overall Rating
My experience in the University is great as it allows us to expand our horizon of interests and thoughts. Many events are also going on at the campus all the times & these are conducted by many departments and schools. The academics in the University are okay. Attendance regulations the campus is strict though.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Sc in Physics and Mathematics, as these are my fields of interest. Around 92 courses are offered by the University. The entry requirements include skill and English assessment test followed by interview. They might consider your 10+2 marks. The admission process starts with filling out an application form. In addition, students need to submit a few important documents as well.
The fee structure for non-Karnataka student is Rs. 79,000/- per year. It is subject to change. Merit-based scholarships are offered by the University.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is friendly. They encourage you to participate in academic as well as co-curricular activities. They are also well-qualified.
 

Placement Rating
There is a Placement Cell along with Incubation Centre to help you be placed as well as support your ideas and start up. There will be frequent pre-placement talks and interactions happening, which organised by prominent industry leaders.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facility is present for both boys and girls. The fees are subject to the room occupancy. the hostels are very well-maintained & gate closing time is 9:00 PM.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is located at the almost center of city near koramangala & it has very good connectivity through buses. Facilities like canteens, gyms, playgrounds, health centers, labs, seminar halls, multiple auditoriums, and much more are available for the students. the University also has very good collection of books in its libraries
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very good. The crowd is very friendly and cool. You will make friends fairly easily. From drama to science to environment to dance, there are many clubs at the campus. The major flagship fest is ‘Ethnic Day’ that is organised in September.

    If I am to summarize my review of Christ University, Bangalore in a sentence, it would be that those who find it a good fit, it is one of the best Institutions in the Country and it will allow you to grow and develop in ways that you might not be able to imagine.
