Christ University Bangalore Average Package is 9.5 LPA

If I am to summarize my review of Christ University, Bangalore in a sentence, it would be that those who find it a good fit, it is one of the best Institutions in the Country and it will allow you to grow and develop in ways that you might not be able to imagine. If you can get past the strict rules and policies, it offers you countless opportunities both, in and outside classroom to help you grow and develop. The entire ecosystem allows you to grow professionally as well as socially. In my opinion, no other University in India will give you the stage to interact with people of so many different cultures, pursuing so many different career possibilities at a single place. It is not only the diversity but, the stage it has set allowing you to interact with multicultural groups as part of your day-to-day life.

The course of my choice is BBA. The University is ranked third in the Country for this course. The course itself is fabulous. The curriculum is updated almost every year, making sure that whatever we are learning is relevant. Technical subjects like Python and Data Analysis have already been integrated in the course. The curriculum is aligned with real-life challenges.

The 1st year fees was Rs. 2,50,000/-, which increments by Rs. 20,000/- every year and the fees needs to be paid in full, for the entire year, upfront. Additional fees are there for application and registration. The fee is lower for Karnataka residents and different Scholarships are also available.

Most of the faculty at Christ University, Bangalore hold a Ph.D., with great expertise in their specific field. Almost all faculties use a mix of presentations, blackboards, discussions, activities, peer-to-peer learning etc. for enhancing our learning and classroom engagement. All the teachers have a lot of knowledge pertaining to their subject and can easily solve doubt that specifically may not even pertain to the course. They are highly approachable and most of the faculty is very friendly.

There is a Placement Cell that helps students interview and land jobs with top MNC's or Corporates. The Cell even helps you land Internships during your 2nd year break to help you develop your CV. Average package for my course is around 9.5 LPA.

The hostel facilities are pretty good if you are willing to adjust with taste and follow strict rules. The main rule is regarding the night timings where gates close at 9:00 PM. The fee is around Rs. 70,000/- to Rs. 80,000/- for an academic year which is quite affordable.

There are several buildings, huge fields, Basketball Courts, Lawn Tennis Court, libraries and multiple canteens with countless outlets serving almost anything you may want. Amenities include multiple labs, auditoriums, health care centres, seminar halls, etc. There are indoor courts for Basketball, Squash, Table Tennis, Tennis and other sports. Overall, you can play almost any sport. All the facilities are best in class, and suitable for a campus of such size and magnitude. My favourite thing about the infrastructure is the sheer size and variety of all the facilities provided. Some of the canteens are my favourite place to hang out after classes, even if I don't want to have anything.

Overall, campus life of Christ University, Bangalore is pretty good. The crowd is a mix, but it can be a little too much at times. There are countless clubs, with countless events, fests or activities. If there is a club/society you can think of, it is already there probably. But, let's just say, if there is no club for something you want to do, you can just pitch to the faculty and open one up. There are countless, Inter and Intra departmental and Inter-University fests that happen throughout the year. There is at least one event happening in a day, if not more. And these events allow you to meet countless people from varied backgrounds, cultures, aspirations, goals and career trajectories. In my opinion, there is no other University in this country that provides you with a similar stage to interact with people. Some of the famous fests include ‘Blossoms’, ‘Thrive’, ‘Esprit’, and countless others.
