Review on Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun

Overall Rating
Decent college with some highly skilled teacher. It has many labs and good equipment. But college campus is situated in very dirty place. There is much garbage and open sever that smells very bad. Sometimes teacher are not available for months and it creates lots of pressure for students. Exam is not very hard. Extracurricular activities keep happening every month. Around 3-4 activities every month. Placement is good for B.Tech, over 80% students get placed but ROI is low in this college.
 

Academics Rating
The B.Tech is about technology and building new world. Although there is no entry requirements but you have to get good marks in your 12th for scholarship. To take admission you should have completed your 12th form recognised board.
 

Faculty Rating
Teacher of higher section like A1, A2, B1, and B2 are good and skilled but lower section teacher are not much skilled they don't focus on students. Many of them have completed their graduation or post graduation from this college. There are total 12 labs for computer and each has 1 or 2 assistant assigned to it.
 

Placement Rating
College has a Placement Cell and though the placement is over 80% but the average package is still very low around 5 to 6 lakh per annum. Only few students 10-14 gets gold placement in FAANG. Big placement company of college is TCS.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is good and well furnished. Food is good and usually 4 students lives in 1 room. Wi-Fi is available on every floor. There is no ragging and security is always active. There are total 4 hostels of the college and more than 8000 students live in them and the fees is ₹120000 yearly.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is good and big. College has football ground and a game arena. Sports like table tennis, chess, badminton, basketball, football, and cricket equipment are available. Many sports activities also occur in college. Inside Campus is clean but outside is very dirty and smelly. College building is 5 floors.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is decent. College starts from 8 AM and last till 6 PM Every course has 2 batch morning and evening batch. Morning batch is from 8 AM to 12 and evening from 12 PM - 4 PM. Total 90 buses are available in college. College has huge crowd. B.Tech course has 26 section and each section has 80 students. Many college clubs are available for singing, dancing, or poem. Grafest is one of the biggest fests that is organised in the college and it is of 3 days. Extracurricular activities occur every month.

    My experience in GEHU Dehradun is excellent till now. The faculties and facilities in this University are great. It has good record in providing technical placements to the students which attracts the students most. You can explore various things in the campus. The University operates in 2 swifts on is morning shift which is from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM and evening shift which is from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Overall, it is a great University according to me....     I chose Graphic Era Hill University because it was a renowned organization and not too far from my place. The infrastructure and faculty are excellent and even the placements are most important reasons I preferred GEHU over other colleges.
