My life at DSATM Bangalore: Academics, Infrastructure, & Various Others

Overall Rating
My overall experience at DSATM Bangalore was great because the college is surrounded by nature, away from all the pollution of the city. I chose this college because it has outstanding infrastructure, course curriculum, and teaching faculty. Apart from this, the location of the college is highly accessible. I would suggest that students who want to pursue education in the Engineering stream should choose this college because it can help them get recruited at reputed firms.
 

Academics Rating
I chose the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program with a specialisation in Finance. Students who have obtained UG degree in any stream are eligible to apply for this course. Students can get admission either through the management quota or by qualifying the PGCET exam which is conducted by the Government of Karnataka.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are well qualified and experienced. Most of them are PhD holders who undergo extensive recruitment process before being inducted into the college staff. They resolve any doubts of the students because they have expert knowledge within their subject matter.
 

Placement Rating
There is a dedicated Placement Cell at the college which helps students secure jobs at prominent organisations. The placement coordinators are friendly and try their best support each and every student during on-campus placements so that they get recruited with high salary. Industrial visits scheduled for classes of every department where students can enhance their professional knowledge.
 

Hostel Rating
The college has separate hostel buildings for boys and girls. Each hostel has 3 stories with comfortable accommodation facilities for students. Hostellers are provided 24/7 water and electricity supply. They can also play various indoor and outdoor games such as Badminton, Table Tennis, Basketball, Chess, etc.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are separate academic blocks for Engineering, Management, Architecture, and Computer Science departments. The college also has separate buildings for canteen, sports, and activity centre. It has a state-of-the-art auditorium where various academic and professional activities are conducted. There is a 3-floor study centre which includes a the digital library, computer lab, physical library and a stationary shop along with private study rooms for preparations during exams and project activities.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is excellent as every required facility is available for the students. Every year inter-college fests are conducted by every department where students can display their talent and enjoy their campus life. Students can also join various clubs such as sports club, debate club, art club, research club, etc. All these interactive events and activities keep students satisfied so that they do not lose their motivation during the learning process.

    This is one of the best colleges in Karnataka for engineering by KCET and COMEDK. The highest package of the college was 36 lakhs per annum. If you have given KCET and COMEDK and ranked a little bit low, yet you want to join a great university for engineering, Dayanand Sagar Academy of Technology and Management is the best option.... I didn't even know this college called DSATM (the second branch of Dayananda Sagar College) existed till I joined this college.
