Overall Rating
The overall experience in Ravenshaw University is very good. I have passed one academic year completely in Ravenshaw University. In this short span of time I have experienced many things. Everything is going well in this institution. The reason behind choosing this university is that it has good study environment and better facilities.
 

Academics Rating
For admission in post graduation one most have to do graduation from any recognised college or University. As I have taken Geography as my honors because this subject has wide range of scope like geography teacher, researcher, population surveyor, cartographer, urban planner, environmental consultant etc.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the faculties are well qualified and experienced. They are the holders of NET / JRF / Ph.D in respective disciplines. They try to teach topics practically and they repeat the topics so the students can understand them properly. They try to engage the class first, and then only start teaching.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell at Ravenshaw University. It really helps those students who belongs poor family and in need a job. The companies like Infosys, TATA, TCS, and many more are invited in the college during the placement program.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have residential facility inside the campus. There are 13 hostels inside the campus and as I am a hosteller staying in WEST hostel. In each room 4 students are staying. Inside the hostel, we have mess facilities, free Wi-Fi system, libraries, study room, gym etc. And most the hostels have good sanitation facility and well maintained gardens and lawns etc. In every hostel, transportation facilities are given to blind students. Sports facilities are also available in the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are different buildings for different department’s hostels, quarter's etc. In every department we have free wifi, library, study room and also have smart boards etc. One of the biggest libraries of Odisha is in Ravenshaw University that is Kanika Library. E-resource library facilities are there for accessing online resources.
 

Campus Rating
As this university has wide area so, crowd is less. There are clubs like music, drama, dance, and sports. In Addition to this, fests like cultural functions, seminars, and more are also conducted in the college. There are other activities also that take place like debate competition, quiz competition, annual function, food festival, film festival and so on.

    My name is Aditya. I am a student of Ravenshaw University, Cuttack. Currently I am doing Bachelor of Science in mathematics subject. Overall this is a good university for bachelor of science, arts, commerce, business administration, etc. Here you can do integrated B.Sc and B.Ed.     Ok, First of all I'm new in Ravenshaw. I'm basically a fresher but I know Ravenshaw very well. First of all please congratulate our college for obtaining A++ from NAAC it was a very proud moment for all the Ravenshawvian.
