Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College is one of the best government engineering colleges in North Bengal. Campus, faculty members and placements are excellent. I have many memories in this college. Many students are working in good places after completing their studies from this college. So, I choose this college. In the future, if any student wants to take admission here, he/she can definitely take it. In my eyes, this is a very good college.

This college has a total of six courses such as Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Information Technology. Diploma Engineering Students and Bachelor of Science Students can get admission in this college. Their eligibility is Diploma passed and B.Sc passed.

Yes, I got placement from this college. Very good placement. I am working now in Siliguri. And I am an assistant engineer. I would say to the next students that you continue your studies one day you are guaranteed to be successful. After completing your studies from this college you can participate in many job exams.

Yes, this college has hostel facility. There are 365 seats in boys’ hostels and 120 seats in girls’ hostels (2024). I studied in the hostel and the hostel life was wonderful and I still get teary-eyed thinking about those days. I will never forget those happy days. Hostel facility is very good very clean and study was very good.

This college has 40 classrooms and there are 7 e-classrooms. There are 61271 of books and 16962 titles in library. There are 41 laboratories and workshops. There are 272 common computers and Indoor and outdoor sports facilities available. There are also common rooms for boys and girls.

My campus life is very good with my friends. The campus was crowded with students during college hours. Sports like volleyball and cricket were played in the club. Many festivals are held in the college campus like Saraswati Pujo Biswakarma Pujo. In college, our days were spent in the engagement activities of the campus.
