Excellence with nature beauty

Overall Rating
It's my dream from very early that I have a desire to study at NIT Hamirpur in BTech programme so when I took jee exam and when I got allotted a seat in chemical engineering in NIT Hamirpur I was very excited about how was the college and campus out there and what is the culture of the NIT Hamirpur etc. and when I came here I loved it very much as I hear about its campus it is really pretty good. After my jee exam and counselling process I got my seat in the chemical engineering department.
 

Academics Rating
The Staff of the college is very supportive. I was in chemical engineering so I can say specifically about this department. Faculty engage with the students in a friendly manner so it is easy for the students to approach them. They all are well-qualified so you will try solving problems whatever you will put to them.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members of NIT Hamirpur are pretty good about studies they help all students in clearing their doubts. The faculty members are very cooperative to students. My subject faculties provided by the Department of Chemical Engineering were very good and cooperative to all of us. They taught us very gently and their style of teaching we loved the most.
 

Placement Rating
Yes we have placement and training cell in our institute which provides students placements in campus as well as aware students about out-of-campus placements. Placement cell play a vital role in every student's life because of this everyone gets support for placement or internship in job industry.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes we have residential facilities in our institute as we are provided with hostels for every year like 1st year have separate hostels and others also. We are given food and saNITation facility with clothing and good hostel rooms.
 

Infrastructure Rating
All departments are provided with separate buildings with all facilities available in them. There is academic block in which director office is situated. It also has central block where academics are held by faculty members.
 

Campus Rating
Our institute's overall campus life is best. The students outside Himachal come here feels joyful because the campus is very prosperous . Our institute has many clubs like discipline club pixonoids club, finance club etc. which are helpful in our annual cultural fest like hill fair. Nibus which is our technical fest and Lalkaar is our sports meet with inter-branch or inter-year competition.

    In terms of infrastructure and architecture, my college resides on the top portion of our country. NIT Hamirpur is situated on a hill top of district Hamirpur and surrounded by a forest with old classically built building. The second thing which I like most in my college is the helping nature of the seniors and facilities towards the juniors.     It’s my 2nd semester here and I am really enjoying here. It's was my dream to come and study here. The college life here is quite peaceful as it is situated a few kms away from the main road. The students here are very sharp minded and their friendly nature has made me to feel home here. There is every facility which you need in your daily life.
