Overall Rating
PAU is the largest agricultural university in Asia. All the teachers here are Ph.D scholars; highly experienced and trained. They have written many research papers and thesis. Scholarships and financial aid is provided. Hostel services are provided. Every student gets an advisor who looks after his/her research. Field work has to be done for research. Every student gets a specific topic for research for which he/she has to write a thesis. Natural surroundings are very great. Canteens are available. It is spread across a large area. Fests and melas are organised every year two times.
 

Academics Rating
Exams are taken three times in a semester as first hourly, midterm, and end term. Each exam has equal weightage in overall results. It's mandatory to clear each exam to get clear in that course. Paper checking is very harsh. Reappears and supplements are awarded very often. Course curriculum is very good. Way of teaching is great. Smart class, models, and charts are used. Hands on training and internships are provides. Seminars and conferences are organised.
 

Faculty Rating
Each teacher is highly qualified. They have years of experience and have basic knowledge of subject. Their style of teaching is very professional. They use a unique style of teaching by using models, hands on training, charts, and projects. Field work is given to get better knowledge of subject and get real life experience.
 

Placement Rating
Vacancies are posted on a WhatsApp group. Seminars are organised on how to perform in interview, how to write a CV, how to crack an interview, and what are job opportunities after completion of course. Vacancies are posted through mails via Placement Cell.
 

Hostel Rating
Girls’ and boys’ hostels are separate. Strictest wardens are appointed. Strict timings rules are followed. No one is allowed to go out of the hostel after 8:00 PM at night. Festivals are celebrated in the hostel. Parties could be organised in hostel. Swings are placed in hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Smart classes are available in every class. Modern and fully furnished labs with modern equipments are available. Museum, library, and reading hall along with different fields are available in the university. Stationary and photocopy shops are also available. Amul and Nescafe are also there. Every department has its own office and head.
 

Campus Rating
Everyone is busy in their own life and work. It's only in the class where people meet and then they go to their labs and fields for work. Very less time is available for social life. Work load and pressure is great. Perfection is demanded in every task. Quality of work is demanded. Tasks are deadline based.

    It a renowned university in Punjab and has received prestigious awards for its academics, co-curricular activities, sports and other activities. Recently, national youth festival was also held in the university. The infrastructure is great and the university spreads across 4500 acres. There are spacious classes and departments.     Overall Rating
    I had chosen Punjab Agricultural University not because it was my dream but because I could not make into MBBS. Sad it is!! But it was not a bad experience. The environment is very good, well equipped infrastructure, main focus into studies and research. Proper games and everything you can find over here. A lot of courses you can find here.
