As of now I'm in my first year and I'm still getting used to things but so far I've been enjoying my time in Tolani Maritime Institute with all the friends I've made here. I chose this particular institute because it is the best in the country for merchant navy in general. There are other institutes in the country as well but the quality of the faculty and college can only be understood ones you experience it. I'd recommend everyone to go here because of the assistance it provides for our future to get a good job and build a good lifestyle.

The course I'm studying is Marine Engineering to enter this course we need a minimum of 60% aggregate in PCM in our board exams and also need to have a good rank in the IMUCET exam. To get into Tolani Maritime Institute a person below the rank of 4000 can easily qualify into this college after clearing the college entrance exam and interview. The motive of enrolling into this program is because I always wanted to be a marine engineer so when I got a chance to get into this college I couldn't stop myself from chasing my dreams.

All the faculties are top notch here. Most of them come from shipping backgrounds as a result they know our struggles and how to help us. They help us by teaching us in high quality because they know the mistakes they made when they were starting out so they know where we would go wrong so they correct us even before we commit a mistake. Each of these teachers has a very unique style of teaching us different things.

Yes, there is a Placement Cell in our college which helps to bring big and top notch companies into our college. They help us to acquire jobs quicker. There is 100% placement in this college because of all these companies. There is also placement assistance provided to us to tell us which company is good and which aren’t to help us decide faster.

Yes, there are hostel facilities in our college which are well equipped with everything necessary for a better living. There is a badminton court in between our hostel and a well equipped gym in the basement of the hostel. The infrastructure is very good overall and have great views when we look through the window.

The infrastructure of the college is very good. The academic blocks are equipped with good lighting and all the rooms are air conditioned. There are canteens and other places to eat. Along with that there are well equipped gyms in the hostel and various sports you can take part in. The hostels and all other amenities are maintained by being cleaned on a daily basis and because of tolani being a marine college there is a swimming pool with a diving board beside all of it. Along with that it also has various other sports like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, squash, and tennis that can be played here because of the availability of such services.

There are different types of clubs in Tolani one of which is Jigyassa which focuses on helping students who can't go to school by teaching them basic education along with that Abeer which has the institute band in it. Along with that there is horizon which is the main fest in our college held every year on March and the crowd is full of joy during this time. Along with that we celebrate our annual day on the day the college was made that's on November every year.
