Tolani Maritime Institute is a good college and one of the best colleges in India for Merchant Navy. It has good architecture and good facilities which help the cadets to study practically well in all subjects. As for the academics, it's pretty decent I would say. Teachers are good and experienced and they have been teaching for 10-15 years minimum. As for other services, hostels are clean and tidy. Mess food is really good and tasty but anyone will get bored of the same food again and again. Overall good experience this year. I'm in First year now and I think I will enjoy my life here as a cadet because they are providing me with good opportunities to showcase my talent in different fields like sports, arts, etc.

Academics are decent. Teachers are rich in knowledge and are very experienced. They are also related to our field and a share experience about merchant navy field which makes us interested in the career and motivates us. Exams takes place internal and external in college frequently which will help the students in studying time to time.

Faculty is also very good. Most of them are very experienced and posses high degree in this field. There are many captains and chief engineers teaching us which helps us to study better because we concentrate in class and see them as an inspiration. Other than that, each 1 hour class is helpful for us in understanding of topics.

Infrastructure is very good I would say. There is a ship in campus and many courses are going on inside the ship which helps the students in working on hands and gaining really good practical knowledge which will help us in the future when we go onboard ship. Other than that, there are many practical labs which help us in doing experiments.

Campus Life in Tolani is good. It is very tiring but at the same time enjoying. Day starts at 6 AM with morning conditioning and goes on until 4:40 PM with academics and then we have 5 to 7 sports time. It is tiring but that is how our life will be in the future and the college is training is for our future.
