My college has given me everything I am studying today in my fourth year. The companions and joy is unmatchable. With a campus of more than 60 acres, USCT is situated inside the main campus of GGSIPU. Being in the main campus has several advantages, you get to interact with people from different branches. The faculty are very knowledgeable and eager to help if we exclude one or two teachers. My seniors were very friendly and talking to them made my college life fun. As it is the main campus, people from different backgrounds are also there. Now talking about placements, the training and placement cell of USCT is very respectable and has a good alumni network. Many companies visited the campus last year like L&T, Asian Paints, Planetspark, Federal Bank, IRSEC, etc. Most of my seniors got placed with an average package of 5 LPA. The campus is lush green and we enjoy our walks around the campus in our free time.

USCT has two courses i.e. Chemical Engineering and Biochemical Engineering. Most students prefer Chemical Engineering but if you are interested in biofield and have a previous background then you can opt for biochem. The course goes through every aspect of how many processes work in engineering particularly in the chemical field. We have core subjects like Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Chemical Reaction Engineering, Mass Transfer, Heat Transfer, Process Equipment Design and non-core subjects like Economics, Entrepreneurship Development and Human Resource Management. The eligibility is through JEE exam. You can get admission even if you don't have a good rank. You have to have PCM as your subject in 12th. Finally, if you are interested in how processes work on a basic level like how heat is transferred in materials or what is the mechanism of Thermodynamics then you can opt for this course.

The faculty of USCT are quite knowledgeable. Almost all our professors have either M.Tech or Ph.D from IITs. They teach every subject in detail. If we need help in our academics, they help by providing study materials. They provide notes after every class on our WhatsApp group which helps us in exams. When we had to do our minor and major projects in our final year. Our mentors provided us with the necessary lab materials and helped us in every step by giving us the time we needed.

The placement cell of USCT is quite reputable. We have several companies visiting our campus. Many students opted for core jobs as well as non-core jobs. I think that it can be improved overall but it is improving. All our classmates secured internships in 3rd year by the placement cell either in Delhi Jal Board or Delhi Milk Scheme.

The hostel life is what matters the most because you are going to spend your four years in this college. The hostels are separated for both boys and girls. The infrastructure is good as we have lifts working. The mess serves different food throughout the week and is comparable to home food.

The campus is situated in Dwarka sec14. The campus is large as it expands on more than 60 acres. Behind the college, there are staff quarters where we often go for walks. The building for all departments is in good shape and condition. Last year, all the classrooms were furnished and repaired. They added smart boards in every classroom. Laboratories are clean and almost all the important materials can be found although many chemicals are missing most of the time. The campus is literally covered in lush green trees and the environment is very good. We have Amul, Nescafe, Mother Dairy, and Canteen on campus.

The annual cultural fest of GGSIPU is Anugoonj. It is the biggest fest in Delhi. Organised in the Dwarka campus itself. We enjoy the fest every year. The annual technical feat of USCT is Chemcord. It includes every aspect of Chemical Engineering in a challenging way. We have dance, music, acting, photography, and nature clubs. They are quite active. But the most active are Aveksha, the acting, Mudra, the dance, and Swar, the music club.
