VIT Pune B.Tech Seat is Alloted through CAP and SPOT Counselling

I spent four years in this Institute and it has taught me various life lessons. I chose this Institute because it is among one of the top Institutions in Pune. I personally heard so much things about this Institute. This Institute is different from other Institutions. This is an Autonomous Institute where if you’re scoring less marks you will not get any backlog.

I chose B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. It’s not a very different branch form Computer Science or Information Technology. For admission in this Institute you have to qualify the entrance exam. The admission will also be based on your Maharashtra Common Entrance test percentile. There are two rounds for admission, the first known as the CAP round and then the second round called the SPOT round. On the basis of your percentile, you will be open to choose the branches you are eligible for. Talking about exams, you will have a mid-semester exam and an end-semester exam every semester which sums up to 16 exams during your Engineering. Many essential subjects would be taught to you, which will help you in future. Overall, the academics of this Institute are good.

For general category students the fee will be around Rs. 1,80,000/- per year. The scholarship is also provided to the students.

The faculty members of VIT Pune are very nice. They have good experience in their respective field. The faculty has experience of 4 to 6 years in teaching. The teaching methods include blackboard, whiteboard, PPTs, etc. They are eager to help you out and they will also clear your doubts when you need them. There are approximately 10 to 12 teachers per branch. I personally had fabulous time learning with the teachers. They will repeat everything whatever the students didn’t understood. The faculty members are very friendly.

The training and placement cell of VIT Pune is good. The master of TPO does bring really good companies to this Institute. On average, every week 3 to 4 good companies come to our Institute for registration where students register for it, sit for their tests, and then give 2-3 rounds of interviews. If students got selected they will get an offer letter in 3 to 4 days. Renowned companies like NVIDIA, Amazon, Deutsche Bank, UBS, Workday, etc. have visited our campus for placements. They offer an average package of 25 LPA to 30 LPA.

Yes, the Institute also provides hostel facilities. There are separate hostels for girls and boys. I have heard nice things about the hostels. The students had a very good experience regarding the mess, rooms, and the hostel environment.

The Institute has 4 blocks. The classrooms can accommodate a maximum of 60 students. The classroom has well equipped projectors and blackboards. The campus has a library, two canteens, seminar hall, playground, etc.

I have enjoyed my campus life a lot during in this Institute. The crowd comes from all over India. There are various clubs that you can be part of such as robotics club, dance club, and music club. The Institute organise various activities related to sports and fashion. There is no other place like VIT Pune because this Institute has everything. They also conduct fests such as Vishwakarandak, Vishwoutsav, and Melonge.
