This college has an overall good environment. There is no ragging, on or off campus, the seniors are very helpful. There are many tech clubs like Phoenix, which host competitions like graphic designing, content writing, hackathons, and many other tech events. There are clubs like Lensified, which guide budding photographers. Eco, Cultural, and CSR are other clubs which host cultural events and charity events respectively. The individual departments also have their own tech events and are very active on their respective communities.

This is a very reputed engineering college. The closing rank for admission in the CS department is 10,000. For IT, it is 25,000 and for ECE it is 40,000. These are the major departments. There are other departments as well like EE, AEIE, and ME, they have closing ranks up to 60,000. I am in the IT department and according to me, it is the best department because of the cooperative and helpful faculty. The other department faculties are also helpful but IT professors even go out of their way to organise or schedule classes to help students.

The basic science faculties i.e., the first year department, are well versed with their own subjects and provide genuinely good explanations. They provide such in depth explanations and hands-on demonstrations in their respective labs. They have really talented students who are always open to learn something new. The IT department professors are very helpful, if you want to work in research, they are the best mentors. The electrical department provides the best application based learning.

The placement scenarios are best in the IT and CSE department and quite decent in other departments. The CSE department has an average package of 5 LPA, highest package could be anywhere between 42-35 LPA. IT department has an average package of 3.5 LPA and the highest package of 42-35 LPA. Although the highest LPA in the respective departments are based on individual effort more than that of the college. The mass recruitment is done by Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and many others.

The college does not provide any hostel facilities.

The college has a well developed infrastructure, latest technology, and machines. They have decent labs with air conditioning that help students work at an optimum temperature. There is a DSA (Data Structure and Algorithms) Lab, Networking Lab, Stimulation Lab, and Computer Organisation Lab for all software development purposes. They have good equipment. There are also Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, English Lab, and others. Electrical department has a Communications Lab, Electronics Lab, and Electrical Lab. All the labs have latest equipment, air conditioning, and have enough infrastructure to accommodate all students.

The campus life is overall very chill and is quite nice. It has a beautiful ground at the centre where students are free to enjoy themselves. There is an open central library, with a couch and a common room. There are table tennis, carrom, badminton, and other game sets. You are free to lounge and enjoy playing those games. There is an air-conditioned study room, library, and e-library. All the classrooms have air conditioning. The college has 6 floors, a clean washroom with fancy mirrors and stuff. The offices are overall helpful, although there could be some resistance from the accounts department.
