SRM group of colleges is a renowned group of colleges in India. SRM is one of the best private institutions in India. Its main campus is in KTR Chennai, but they have some off campuses such as NCR campus in Ghaziabad. SRM Ghaziabad is one of the most famous colleges in the NCR area for B.Tech. They provide good placements, they have good infrastructure, and great faculty that covers all the aspects that an engineering student should know in their four year term. So, that’s one of my reasons to take admission in SRM.

For taking admission in SRM, first you need to give SRM’s own entrance exam which is known as SRMEEE that includes subjects like chemistry, physics, maths, general aptitude and english. So if you get a rank below 10000, you can get admission in any of the campuses of your choice. But if the rank is below 100, SRM provides scholarships to those students and the minimum criteria for taking admission is 65% marks in PCM in class 12th.

SRM group of institutions provides great faculty and staff in the campus. The faculty of SRM is highly professional and experienced. The faculty in SRM is of helpful nature, friendly, and they try to guide each and every student. All the faculty members in SRM are highly educated and some of them are from IITs and NITs, which says a lot about their talent and great style of teaching.

SRM group of institutions is among the top institutions in terms of placement in the private sector. They start placement drives from 3rd year and that goes on from 3rd to 4th year, so this tells us that there is enough time of two years to get placed. Also, they start preparing the students from the first semester itself and help them gain confidence through public speaking and many other activities.

In terms of infrastructure, SRM is one of the best colleges. In NCR campus, there is a three floor library. The library includes all types of books. They also have a dedicated floor for computer labs that are highly organised systems for practice. They also have a large playground which provides many sports facilities in the campus.

SRM group of institutions provides a great campus life. There are several clubs that organise many events in the campus making the campus life enjoyable for the students. Also, there are cultural, technical, and sports fests that happen on a regular basis in the campus. DJ nights also happen. Also, there are several other things going on like NCC, NSS, nukad natak, etc. NCC camps and recruitments happen every year in the campus
