All about Techno International New Town

Overall Rating
Techno International Newtown is a subgroup of Techno branch of colleges affiliated with MAKAUT. Situated in Newtown, Smart City, this college holds a great record for providing students a good salary and LPA Packages. Overall, placement is good, some teachers and professors are also good enough. Although campus is a bit small, but if you want a good engineering degree, this college is the one you can give a try.
 

Academics Rating
There are several courses available starting from B.Tech to BBA, and according to me, one can pursue B.Tech if they want to pursue an engineering career. The college selects its students on the basis of WBJEE entrance or JEE entrance examinations. The eligibility of the course is that one has to score at least 80% in 10th and 60% in 12th boards and he or she must give at least one entrance examination.
 

Faculty Rating
Overall, faculty members are good except a few who don't even bother whether the students are getting what he/she is teaching in the class. Most of the professors provide notes and ask the students to study from that. Although they teach well, but at the end you have to refer to the notes for a better understanding.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a Placement Cell, and it helps students to acquire jobs based on their skills and management.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, our institute has residential facilities, but the hostel is situated a bit far from the college, and it takes around 20-25 minutes of walking to reach the college. But on the other hand, food isn't that good here, so you should first think about it seriously and then take any decision.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is a bit small, but nevertheless contains a library where you can get all of your semester books and related guide books. It has a diverse selection of subjects in Bachelor of Technology such as, CSE, ECE, DS, cyber security, etc. The college organises many activities and seminars which help students by providing a better learning platform.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, the campus is a good one. Along with activities and clubs, it also includes various fests throughout the year and many kinds of competitions like art, poster making, Google developer events, etc. Teachers help students in pursuing a better goal for a brighter future. Students that are interested in trekking, dance, music, art etc., and can participate in the various clubs which have already been there.

    My overall experience in this college is average. College has got decent classes, labs, library, and faculty. There's room for improvement though.     Techno International is a Makaut affiliated college; I am a B.Tech 2nd year student in computer science engineering. I opted for this college after listening to some seniors’ reviews. The college is a decent college with nice environment to study. Techno International New Town shares its campus with Sister Nivedita University.     I am a student of 2nd year. This institute is doing excellent in every field, whether it’s academics or extracurricular. I heard about this college and took ECE. I would definitely suggest people to go for this college especially with CSE, IT, and ECE. ECE is a good branch to study which even has a good placement and future in both software and hardware....
