AKGEC College is ranked at No. 1 position in UPTU private colleges as the staff is highly disciplined and punctual. My college is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow and it is also approved by AICTE. I am a part of this college for batch 2018-2022. The management of AKGEC is very good they are helpful and they respond to our queries in a day or two. The admission process is done through the UPSEE exam or JEE mains. I got admitted to AKGEC Ghaziabad with JEE mains rank.

Currently, I am in my 3rd year and I am pursuing my B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering branch. In this college, you get branches according to your percentage or rank. The entrance exam for AKG Engineering College is the UPSEE exam. I have an interest in the Electronics domain and this made me opt for this course. The course I am pursuing is not up to my expectations. My course can easily help me to get a job.

More than 20 faculties had taught me till 3rd year and there are 80 faculties available for my branch through my course duration. There are more than 500 faculties in my college. Almost every teacher has experience of more than 3 years and some teachers have experience of 15 years of teaching. Most teachers have studied from good colleges and even some are from IITs. Not all teachers provide good lessons, some are not able to teach properly whereas some teachers are so good that we want them for our complete degree.

The TNP department of our college is very good as they provide us with complete information regarding internships and placements offered by companies. Companies like - Infosys, TCS, Nexus, Saint-Gobain etc. As I am in 3rd year so no one from my college has received placement but the highest package for the previous year was 40 lacs. The average package which students receive in my college is 4 lacs. Last year around 80% of students got placed.

The hostel is provided in our college and a separate hostel is made for each year to avoid ragging. Hostels of girls and boys are separate and are created at a quite good distance. The total fee of the hostel is Rs. 1,10,000 but the amount is not of its worth. The quality of food is best in the first year but after that, it starts getting poorer. Security in the hostel is ensured as the gates are being closed at 10 pm and daily attendance is also taken to ensure that each student stays on hostel premises. Rest all other facilities which are must for hostels are available in AKGEC hostel.

AKGEC College Infrastructure is very good and it is designed in a way that it resembles old tombs as it contains unpainted bricks but the seating capacity of each classroom is very good and can provide seating for 70 students. There are two libraries in our college and both are well maintained. There are some special labs like - Bosch, KUKA Robotics, etc. in our college that provide courses and on-hand practice on some tools and technologies. There are several grounds in our college, all sports facilities, 2 cafeterias, and even shops for daily needs. There is a hospital which is a partner to our college so we get free checkups and treatments there.

The life in the first year was very good as there were different workshops, recruitments which helped us to stay involved in activities. The clubs in my college are at the top level. There are many clubs and societies. Clubs of robotics, coding, automation are the best clubs in my college. Societies for acting, dancing, singing, coding, modeling are also in our college. So our college creates an atmosphere to take part in such activities with full attention. The level of learning students get is quite good. But there is a drawback of this college is that there is no fest. Our college only celebrates Holi and hosts a fresher and farewell, rest no events are organized by college management. Societies of our college organize events to entertain students and the events they organize are best. So campus life of AKGEC is too awesome for me.
