Overall Rating
So, I will be honest, the thing which made me more attracted to this university is there flexible education system as well as the mou's. They also have inbuilt lab where you can learn as well as have practical education. They do give more importance to practical knowledge instead of theoretical knowledge.
 

Academics Rating
I took Artificial intelligence and Machine learning course in this university. They take admission on the basis of common exam and also through 12th standard’s percentage. Higher the percentage lower is the fees. They also have various scholarships facilities for financially unstable students. You can attend various international conferences too that gives you outer exposure.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculties are highly qualified in their field. You are free to ask them any doubt. They are very friendly in nature. Along with providing technical knowledge they also give you various life lessons. From my personal experience even if you finish a particular faculty's course still you can ask doubt to them. As I said most of the faculties have Ph.D degree.
 

Placement Rating
SIMATS provides 100% placements to all the students. Hence one can leave the college premises after getting a stable job or after taking an admit card for the future studies. They even have training and placement cell. They provide you training opportunities too.
 

Hostel Rating
They have multiple options for hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Some may include 4 in 1, 6 in 1, and 12 in 1, Ac, Non AC, and Ac Deluxe. One can choose their preferred type. Hostels are affordable too.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is one of the best things of SIMATS. They have best buildings and surrounding which should be highly appreciated. We have multiple libraries. The most highly qualified piece of art is sail Library. You are also provided with college Wi-Fi which works at some place. Then you have drinking water facilities along with various canteens that provide delicious food.
 

Campus Rating
Overall the campus life is amazing. Just to tell there are various set of rules. But to look at wise side this rules help us to become a better an individual with great personality. There are multiple symposiums held which contains both technical and non technical. One can participate and win various trophies and certificates. Most highly celebrated festival is Pongal and Simam [cultural event]. So a person can do enjoy a lot here.

    SIMATS Engineering College has good infrastructure and greenery. There is no discrimination towards students from different states. The faculty is friendly.     Currently I am pursuing Computer Science & Engineering at Saveetha School of Engineering. My one-year experience was good to excellent. Unlike other colleges, This College has its unique curriculum, which can’t be finding in any other Engineering colleges. The university follows "flex learn" in which a student can select min of one and max of two course and it is treated as one semester here. if a student registered for one course then he/she will be writing there university exam in two weeks ...     Saveetha University is also known as SIMATS. It is a deemed to be university. SSE Chennai is a constituent part of this university. It is well known for its placement records and extraordinary academic curriculum. The college is extraordinary and pleasant campus life.     SIMATS is out of all other engineering Institutes and they are well known for hands on learning methodology. SSE focuses heavily on project based learning, which helps students gain practical experience alongside theoretical knowledge. Faculty members are approachable and helpful.
