My Overall Experience at Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi was wonderful, Delhi University is full of opportunities it's something that push you more towards your goals. What made me choose Kirori Mal College is the diversity of students here. We get students from different parts of the country and that's the best part of the Institute. The facility members of the college are top notch, they are highly qualified. You get all facilities in one place only, the infrastructure is just amazing, and the library consists of lakhs of books. Another main reason to choose Kirori Mal College is it’s Alumni like Amitabh Bachchan, Singer KK, and many more. Overall, my experience at Kirori Mal college is just amazing in every field, whenever it is academics, infrastructure, and facilities. The quality of education this Institute provides I think no other Institute can provide.

I am pursuing Mathematics Honours at Kirori Mal College, and it is a 3 years course and according to New Education Policy you can do 4th year if you want to opt for research. The entry requirements for the course are that you should have Mathematics in your higher classes and must have at least 50% in your 12th results along with qualifying CUET exam with Mathematics. What motivated me to get enrolled in this course was my love towards mathematics and I would say if you fear from mathematics just don't enroll in this course because it is in depth.

Delhi University has one of the best faculties across the country; Our faculty who teaches us mathematics is highly qualified. They have done their PhD at a very young age and all are passed out from big institutions like IITs. Their style of teaching is just amazing the way they teach hard things in a very simple manner using practical techniques is just good. They give real world examples for our understanding and also they interact with us very frequently.

Yes, we have Placement cell at our college. It helps students to acquire jobs in the industry and also provides internships throughout the year. Last year the average placement CTC was 6.5 LPA, the highest domestic CTC was 35 LPA, over 223 recruiting firms visited our college and 180+ students got placed. There were 1000+ recruiters for the internship program.

Yes, we have only Boys’ hostel in our college and the bad thing is that it has only has capacity to acquire 180 students. Like imagine college having 5000+ students and such a small hostel, this is the worst part of our college; most of the students have to live in the PGs near college where we have to pay lakhs of money every year just because we didn't get the hostel.

Talking about the infrastructure Kirori Mal College, it has the most beautiful building with red bricks everywhere. Our college is divided into two main blocks - Science Block and second is Arts/Commerce block. There is a Gymnasium also in our college. There is separate building for the indoor games; College has two canteens which are open from 8 AM till 5.30 PM providing such a delicious food. College has a separate building for Library which consists of lakhs of books and has separate study rooms where students can study till 8 in the evening.

My overall campus life was good; talking about the crowd we have students from different parts of the country which is the most beautiful part about the University of Delhi. We have different types of fest throughout the year in our college. The cultural fests are just amazing. We have different types of drives throughout the year like cleanliness drives and all.
