Overall Rating
Jawaharlal Nehru University is a very old institution of India. The university is very rich in culture. This university has the best campus life. It is located in the green region of South Delhi. This university has been ranked 2nd all over the India. So, I highly recommended you to take admission without any second thought.
 

Academics Rating
I’m enrolled in the Bachelor of Engineering since 2020. Bachelor of Engineering has 2 courses, B.Tech. in Computer Science and Electronics and Communication Engineering. The university has also other programs like Bachelor in Languages, Masters in more than 30 subjects and Ph.Ds. The enrollment of Bachelor in Engineering is based on your JEE mains score conducted by the NTA for different engineering institutions in India.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are easily approachable and always ready to give any type of help or mentorship. All the faculty members are very experienced in their respective fields. The faculty to student ratio in the university is very good, being approximately 1:15.
 

Placement Rating
The placement for the B.Tech batch graduating in 2024 was average due to market recession. 40-45 students applied for on campus placements, in which only 18 students got placed. The highest recruitment was from Amdocs which recruited 12 students for their software developer post. While many students also opted to go for higher studies. 5 students got AIR better than 200 in the GATE examination 2024.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel facilities are easily accessible for engineering students with a nominal fee of 3000 per year. The mess bill per month varies from 3000-3500 per month. Each hostel has its committee which consists of a president, 6 hostel committee member and 6 mess committee members.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The university is quite rich. Each department has its own dedicated infrastructure. However, the Bachelor of Engineering doesn’t have its own infrastructure as of now, but it may be built by the end of 2027. The hostel infrastructure is somewhat, older but overall, it is very good.
 

Campus Rating
The best part of the Jawaharlal Nehru University is its campus life. The university has a vibrant atmosphere and organizes different types of activities on-the university level, department level, and the hostel level. But the sports activities are organized by the sports committee every semester on the hostel and department level.

    Jawaharlal Nehru University has a great history and it is still counted in the best and renowned Universities of the country. There way of interaction between teachers and students are quite different from other Universities.     Jawaharlal Nehru University is one the best University in all ways. It's cheap and affordable for all the students and it provides campus hostel, stadium, Library, and many more things in very cheap amount. It has the best professors that teach you.     The overall experience in JNU New Delhi is quite good. There are so many factors, which made me choose this one such as good alumni network, affordable fee, etc. It is different from others in many ways such as it has good environment, supportive seniors, and many others.     My experience at Jawaharlal Nehru University has been amazing. From campus life to classroom discussion, it offers all sorts of wide experiences to learn new things.
