I really like my college. It has a good campus life, academics and hostel facilities etc. The coding culture here makes us learn and improve a lot. Everyone here is really helpful. There are different clubs for dance, music, design, photography, drama, coding, entrepreneurship, and various sports like football, volleyball, basketball, tennis, badminton, chess, squash and cricket. Students get a chance to be involved the activities they love to do. College fests like Anwesha (cultural fest), Infinito (sports fest) and Celesta (techno-cultural fest) also take place every year. Overall, the college life is great.

My branch is Computer Science and Engineering. In this course you will get to learn about DBMS, Computer Networks, Operating Systems and Computer Architecture etc. Studying these courses will make you aware of the basic computer fundamentals which are essential for obtaining a good job role. Those who qualify the JEE Advance can easily get admission. One can go through the past years rank cutoff for the different categories to know about his/her eligibility to enroll in the university.

The faculty members are good. There are regular classes for each course and the professors explain the concepts very nicely. Theory as well as a practical (lab) classes are held. If I talk about the style of teaching, it is good. The professors teach mostly using a PPTs.

Yes, we have a Training and Placement Cell at IIT Patna. It works effectively in connecting with companies for recruitment. There is another separate committee formed in the Cell. They focus on the training and development of students by holding contests, hackathons, workshops etc. to enhance their personality development.

Yes, students live in hostels. The hostel facilities are good. The rooms are quite spacious and well furnished. Food in the mess is also nice, but obviously one cannot get the taste of home-made food there. Cleaning of rooms and washrooms are done every alternate day. Caretakers and warden listen to our problems and solve them. We get double occupancy rooms to live in.

There are different departments for each branch where labs and offices of professors are present. Regular classes happen in tutorial building as it has big classrooms. Every room has multiple ACs and fans in it. There are two libraries in the college campus. The buildings there make the campus look more beautiful and attractive.

The campus life is great, people are super nice and helpful. There are different clubs for various activities that you can participate in. College fests are organized every year and celebrities come to perform. Many other events also occur like the celebration of Diwali, Ganesh Chaturthi, Holi, Durga Puja, Nebula (fresher’s party) and the Farewell Party of final year students. All these things make the campus life very joyous and entertaining.
