Review on NIT Tiruchirappalli

Overall Rating
Overall the institute is very good regarding the academics, fest and placements. The main good part of this institute is the placements at the T&P Cell. They work really hard towards the placing each student and try to bring as many companies as possible, which are visiting for the placement drives.
 

Academics Rating
Academic wise, Data Analytics comes under the Computer Application department. There are three courses from this department; M.Tech in Data Analytics, MCA and MSC in Computer Science. The professors are same for each course. They are chill and supportive if you behave properly with them.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are really qualified. They are well experienced in their respective field and supportive in nature, based on the behaviors of the students. Overall, they are very supportive except for a few. There are always exceptions, they are well qualified but do not teach well. However, they are supportive in the field of research.
 

Placement Rating
NIT Tiruchirappalli has one of the best placement cells. They try their best to place all the students and provide them with plenty of opportunities.
 

Hostel Rating
There are approximately 11 hostels and a few are fixed for the B.Tech and M.Tech students. The hostel facilities are good. There are Wi-Fi, water coolers and cleaning facilities available.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure wise, NIT Tiruchirappalli has a campus size of 800 acres. Here you can find all the necessary things for a student. The classrooms are good and clean. There is a good hospital which is opened 24*7. The mess is also good and clean. There is a super market where you can find all your basic necessities, it is called 2K.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is really great. In first year you may face some difficulties in adjusting to the environment. After placements, you feel very relaxed and have plenty of time to spend on whatever you want. There are fests happening almost every month. Two big fests, the NITT fest and the Pragyan fest happen once a year. They are great and really fun.

    When I entered the campus for the first time first thing I noticed was the huge campus area and greenery all over with cleanness. The reasons why I choose National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli was its great academics, social life, location, and great placement result which were better than all NITs and some IITs as well.     My time in the campus is one of the most crucial in my life. NIT Trichy is number1 NIT among all the NITs in India, which is why I chose it. There are many students in institute because in NIT Trichy has various courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Sc plus B.Ed (integrated), M.Sc, MBA, PhD, etc. It has biggest campus (800 acres) and largest & oldest alumni network.     NIT Tiruchirappalli is a place like none other. Where does one even begin describing this place, it is a campus so vast that it would take your entire course span to even attempt exploring the entirety of it. The quality of students that study here are best, your peers will motivate you not just on the academic frontier, but also in all of the other walks of life.
