Overall Rating
Overall experience at NIT Trichy was amazing and tiring as the campus is so huge. On the day of admission, I made new friends. The seniors and staffs all were very friendly & helpful. I chose the institute to get industries exposure and to find my inner passion as well as the academics was very good with great placements. The facilities provided in this campus is I fell is better than others NITs.
 

Academics Rating
The course I chose is Electronics & Communication Engineering because I was having keen interest in semiconductor and microprocessors. Their eligibility criteria are that the students should appear in JEE Main exam and should score a good percentile. To get ECE in NIT Trichy, student must get a rank around 4 thousand for general category. Admission process is through JoSAA counseling which is an online counseling in which student have to fill their preferences of institutes and branch they want.
The fee structure of B.Tech program for 2024 is like this: Tuition fee for one semester is Rs. 62,500 and the hostel and mess fees are Rs. 50,000.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of ECE department is so experienced and chill. These faculties are qualified from Big institutes like IITs and did their PhDs also. The teaching method includes both PPTs and blackboard teaching, with interactive class discussions. The student can resolve their doubts in class timing or can send online through webmail or through any other social media platform. There is sufficient faculty in each department and of specific specifications.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel facilities are good but there is room of improvement in hostel conditions. The hostel facilities provided is Wi-Fi connection, all time electricity and availability of drinking water. The washrooms are cleaned every day. There are no co-ed hostels, separate hostels for girls and boys. Rather, they have hostels for different year students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of institute classes, labs, and hostels is really good & properly built. The campus is spread in an area of about 700 acres. The sitting capacity is around 70 students in one class. There is no air conditioner present in classes. The sports facilities are really good and well-maintained grounds of each sport throughout the year. There is hospital facility as well inside the campus. My favorite parts include football ground, cafeteria, and stone benches.
 

Campus Rating
NIT Trichy is not just an institute but it is like a second home for me. It gave me lifetime unforgettable friends, lots of new experience in the past one year. There are so many clubs but the participation on these clubs starts from second year onwards. Some of the clubs are Dance troupe, music troupe, Sports contingents, and tech clubs. There are many extracurricular activities organized by the institute.

    My time in the campus is one of the most crucial in my life. NIT Trichy is number1 NIT among all the NITs in India, which is why I chose it. There are many students in institute because in NIT Trichy has various courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Sc plus B.Ed (integrated), M.Sc, MBA, PhD, etc. It has biggest campus (800 acres) and largest & oldest alumni network.     NIT Tiruchirappalli is a place like none other. Where does one even begin describing this place, it is a campus so vast that it would take your entire course span to even attempt exploring the entirety of it. The quality of students that study here are best, your peers will motivate you not just on the academic frontier, but also in all of the other walks of life.     NIT Trichy did not just help me grow professionally but it also helped me grow phenomenally as a person. I interacted with many people despite being an introvert. It has the greatest alumni network, sports clubs, best seniors-junior interaction, and much more. I did not this institute but it chose me, and I don't want to ignore it.
