My experiences at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology

Overall Rating
VNIT Nagpur is among the top engineering colleges in India. Every facility has been given to students by authorities. This college has dedicated cricket ground, football ground, badminton court, and table tennis court with best mentors available. VNIT is of 215 acres in the main city of Nagpur located near Ambazari Lake.
 

Academics Rating
VNIT Nagpur offers B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc and several other courses. There are 8 branches in B.Tech; these are Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical and Material Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mining Engineering. To entre in this college as a B.Tech student you should qualify JEE Mains exam with good percentile. You will get likeminded people here and everyone is supportive.
 

Faculty Rating
VNIT Nagpur has one of the best faculties available in TOP NITs and IITs. Especially Material Science branch has world class equipment available. Most of the faculty is from NITs or IITs and they have done their Ph.D from reputed institutes across the globe. Style of teaching of faculty varies with person to person but they will try to get everything done so that students don't have to face any problem in the academic projects.
 

Placement Rating
Average placement is about 7-10 lakh per annum. Also it varies from branch to branch.
 

Hostel Rating
For boys around 10 Hostel and for girls 2 hostels are available with a very neat and clean system. For freshers double seater room is allotted and for other people single seater rooms are allotted.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is very good. Every department has their own labs with highly maintained infrastructure. There is 1 big class room for theory classes knows as CRC (Class Room Complex). 1 New academic building is there for high tech equipment. The halls and classroom here have Wi-Fi facilities. It has a yoga center too.
 

Campus Rating
VNIT Nagpur has a peaceful campus filled with greenery. The size of the campus is 215 acres so there is nothing like crowd. Many clubs are available here like coding club, music club, acting club, and more. Every year one big fest is held here for freshers.

    The overall college is really great. Major focus of college is towards academics and placements which is a good thing for an engineer. The college has a vast campus of over 215 acres so there's a lot to explore in the college. The professors here are a lot experienced and teach really great.     VNIT Nagpur is well above the standards in terms of facilities and clubs.. The faculties are really good at teaching their respective subjects, though some might not be the best.     A beautiful lush green campus covering around 300 acres, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology is situated in the main city of Nagpur. Around 10 Km away from airport and 7 Km away from station, our campus has a very good connection around the city.
