Campus Area of VNIT Nagpur is Around 214 Acres

VNIT Nagpur is an Institution of National importance. the facilities provides at the Institute are research labs, libraries, etc. Placement statistics made me to choose this Institute. This Institute was founded in 1960 and it is well known for its placements. The rules are strict though. This Institute is well known for its framework and alumni network.

I chose Mechanical Engineering in this Institute. For admission, we need to meet the cut off rank of JEE Main exam. Seats are allotted via JoSAA & CSAB counsellings. There will be two exams in one semester one is mid-sem, and other one is end-sem exam.

The tuition fees for one year is Rs. 1,44,425/- for one year. There will be no registration fees. For SC and ST students, no need to pay the amount, For other students whose family income is less than Rs. 1,00,000/- will get 100% refund. if family income is more than 1,00,000/- and less than Rs. 5,00,000/- will get refund of 2/3rd amount of fee deposit.

The faculty are high qualified and did their phD's from top IIT's and they their knowledge is so far. Some of teachers will teach in an excellent way , but some teachers won't teach in good way even though they have knowledge. We have both smart boards and chalk boards. Most of the teachers other than math teachers will use ppt's to teach. We can discuss about the math problems in tutorials. They will provide mentors to solve the problems in 1:15 ratio. We can't directly contact the professor. We have to contact through CR(class representative)

We have one library in which we can get almost all books what we want and no need to buy the books anywhere. The campus is of 214 acres approximately. It is located in central India, we will have metro also to go anywhere with less amount. We will have good infrastructure in classrooms, and new equipments in labs too. We have good library which consists of 80k books, Auditorium near library and conference hall too in directors buliding. We have good canteen, Best sports facilities, Health centre, Metro for transportation, Security gaurds everywhere. The classrooms are very good. We have projectors in every classroom

The campus life is fine , not bad. But won't meet the expectations what you have on it. The college crowd is on high and they will select few members for one branch like 118. There are lot of clubs in vnit which is the best thing in vnit like Shadow club, Iv labs, Tesla for design and manufacturing. They will provide two hours per week as a game period. There will few fests like Cult Night, Aarohi, Axis tech fest which is an annual fest. When it comes to my overall experience it not bad
