Overall, SD College is above average in every aspect. You would have great exposure, nice campus life, various social clubs to get enrolled into, competitively healthy environment, little strictness, various fests, and workshop. It may sound perfect but there are some limitations too like high fees as compared to other colleges, high penalty for low attendance, and yearly hike in fees. Other than that if you're not socially awkward and are interested in extracurricular activities, this campus is a heaven in my opinion. I haven't regretted even once after getting admission here.

Academically too this college excels. The labs here are well maintained and are not lacking in any way. Faculty members are highly skilled and helpful. You would get prizes if you score well and get into top five of your batch. The prize distribution ceremony is held yearly. Even if you excel in any other area like dance, sports, modeling, singing etc. you are honored with certificates and awards and also free lunch too. Teachers are serious towards teaching and you will be expected to attend classes regularly.

Faculty members are skilled and majority holds a Ph.D in their subject. They are quite sincere towards teaching and makes sure that the syllabus is completed and students do not lose interest while studying. They are supportive. Some teachers can seem boring but most are not. They are quite strict in terms of your attendance and you will be expected to attend the class at least two times a week.

Infrastructure size is comparatively better and larger than other affiliated colleges but if you compare it with main campus than obviously it's small. The overall infrastructure quality is great. You will have canteen, Nescafe booth, sitting areas, big auditorium, many blocks like Science, IT, Arts, Reading hall, wish window and more. There is a library with nice collection of books of many courses. The sports ground is good enough too. Overall the infrastructure is nice.

You can expect great campus life here. You will have a great group of friends and many opportunities to get to know about different cultures, different interests, languages and ethnicities. Various clubs are there and workshops are held regularly which will add up to a great experience. You can expect a boom in your current social life. You will get to experience a great quality of cultural fests but don't expect celebrities, it’s always a letdown. Mostly there are no dull days here. Fests are held on yearly basis such as Virasat and Panache. The crowd of this college is great and you would make quality friends here. College environment is healthy in my opinion.
