The environment-friendly nature of the university was something I enjoyed. It also emphasis on skill development and personality building to prepare students for placements. Moreover, their teaching approach and open-door policy are much welcomed, but that will not be enough, you will have to work hard yourself to achieve your goal.

As a student pursuing B.Tech CSE, I have so far taken several courses in my initial year that have given me insights into every other aspect of CSE like graphic drawing, electronics, etc. After two years of the course, the main CSE stream you had selected will begin. I took Machine Learning. On successful completion of 12th class with not less than 60% marks and passing LPUNEST examination as well, we may earn a scholarship if we perform well. Every student is considered eligible either through this exam or by any national level test for instance JEE.

Our faculty members have high level of experience in their respective fields and industry practice from which they can structure their courses and topics properly. Majority of the teachers in our institution are either PhD holders or doing their PhDs here. Every one teaches differently, some prefer using power point presentations while others use overhead projectors or even prefer live demonstrations.

The Placement Cell in our university is good. They help you in developing the basic personality including other things which are needed during placement interviews. Moreover, average placement package is fine, starting from INR 5 to 6 lakhs. So one should not worry about anything but keep good CGP score of 7. Some practical projects are done here.

As for the opportunity to reside in our institute we do have some housing facilities and generally, it is quite alright. The mess and the hostel fees are not covered in college fee that we pay to the college. The mess in quite neat and clean. The food it provides is very hygienic and good in taste. Very much satisfied with the mess it is worth the amount for which you pay. Speaking about the hostel it is comparatively costly. If you take an AC room, you will be provided 500 units per student and if you pay for a non-AC room, you will be provided only 350 units. If the electricity usage exceeds the given units, then you will have to pay. The boy’s hostel is quite distant from the main gate of the university. There are the golf carts that move around our university in campus but they also cease their business at 8:00 pm. Of course you may find a PG for a much lower price outside the campus. They also provide table, chair, almirah, geyser, desert cooler, fan, tube light, and bed with mattress in hostel room.

It is worth to look at the infrastructure, which is here as interesting as everywhere else. Here there is no small building; all are very big. It can accommodate nearly 3500 students at a time and has most of the facilities as ac and proper ventilation of the rooms. There are several types of seats which are comfortable. There are nearly 60 buildings with top class facilities all around the campus with a mall, indoor grounds, hostels, huge library, etc.

You will find a lot of variation in terms of students of Indian origin. Some of the occasions that are held in the campus are similar to songs fest, stand-up comedy, e-Sports tournament, and hackathons. Among them there are paid and unpaid applications. For the integration of different cultures or to feel the unity of different cultures, there are some cultural events just like One World or One India where we exhibit different stalls related to different cultures. There are more than 20 student’s clubs which in their turn are responsible for the conducting events and presenting some of the knowledgeable things for the students. Overall, the campus life is quite decent.
