After passing my 12th, I was searching for an institute to pursue Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science. After exploring the Agarpara area I thought this institute is better than any other private institute. Anyone who wants to get a good placement can go for Narula Institute of Technology without hesitation. This will help in shaping your career.

I am pursing Information Technology course in Narula. If anyone wants to pursue this course he should have Physics, Math and Chemistry in their 12th. There are several methods or ways to enroll in my course. One can enroll through JEE Main, WBJEE and Direct admissions. There are 80% seat reserved for WBJEE candidates and 10% reserved for JEE Main candidates. My main motive for choosing this institute is to get placed in an IT company with a handsome package. If anyone has the same motive then you are welcomed here.

There are approximately 150 to 200 faculties in our institute. Among them maximum are Ph.D holders. If you want to get help from them they will surely help you. Faculties of Information Technology departments are known for their teaching style. They have published different research papers. They will help you in building projects.

Yes, our institute has an active placement cell. They will train you for the placements. Many IT companies like Accenture, Wipro, Capgemini, etc. visit our campus. Almost every company that visits our institute are service based. Last year product based company Juspay offered a 27 LPA package. You should maintain an 8 and above GPA for getting good placement.

Our institute has separate hostels for girls and boys. But those hostels are not in our institute campus they are outside of our campus. Hostel charge is 6000 per month. In first year you will be allotted a two seated room. You will get meals 4 times in a day. Meal quality is decent. Not sure about any other details.

Our institute has a decent infrastructure. Labs are well equipped but labs kits are old and broken. There is no AC in classrooms. You will get books in every semester from library.

There are several clubs in our institute but they are not so active. I have a decent campus life. There is a small ground in the campus. Two events are held here every year, Kritanj and Navodaya. Kritanj is tech fest, in Kritanj students build different projects and I have not experienced the cultural fest yet.
