My life at DAVV SOC

Overall Rating
I am a student at DAVV, SOC and life here is overall a good experience. Fee is affordable comparatively. DAVV is a well known college since 90's. Many notable alumni have passed out from here. This was also a plus point when I was looking forward to enroll in this college.
 

Academics Rating
The course which I am currently pursuing is Integrated MBA in Foreign Trade. I choose this course since its unique. An eligibility criterion to enroll for the course is that you need to clear CUET exam and apply for counseling. On the basis of your rank you can choose the course. There will be total 4 lectures of one hour every day of the week.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties here are good. Most of them are guest faculties but their behavior and teaching skills are pretty good. They provide notes on Google classroom as well as in physical format. There is one course coordinator for every course and he/she will guide you throughout the semester.
 

Placement Rating
No, we don't have placement cell in DAVV. The highest package from SOC was 6.6 LPA. DAVV provides average placement opportunities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus area is huge and clean, but buildings are very outdated. The infrastructure is not adequately maintained. The campus has a lot of greenery. There are different blocks for every course.
 

Campus Rating
Social life is good. Students are friendly. In SOC, there is no thumb rule for attendance. Other departments’ students are also friendly. Sports activities like Spardha is conducted every year. Annual fest is decent.

    I have completed my first year in this University, so overall University environment is good, senior are helpful. The University as great alumni and it well established and was form in 1998.     My experience so far has been amazing as it's a Government University and it takes a lot to get admission here. Even I got admission with a lot of struggle but it's totally worth it as I am getting everything which I have expected. The campus is beautiful and fee is also affordable. The teaching pattern of the faculty members is good too as the subject I chose is different. I will pursue Masters from this University as well.... Read Full Review

    The college consists of a small building that has around 10 classrooms. The courses offered here are BA LL.B, LLM, M.Phil, and Ph.D. Here the students are well studios and ample of books are provided for their assistance.
