I got into this prestigious college through IEEE. The college has always been in the list of India’s top private engineering colleges and it has maintained its position consistently for last many years. Just by getting inside the college campus will give you the proud feeling. The infrastructure of the college just makes your hostel life very convenient, as your day to day necessities will be fulfilled inside the campus itself. Since MIT has NRI students too you will have a great experience of different cultures and nationalities.

I did my bachelor of engineering in electronics & Communication stream. As this is the top most branch of the college hence the top rankers of IEEE could get this branch. The course curriculum as well as the professors too were the best ones and they were very helpful. The top IT companies have always given the priority to this branch during placements. All the top electrical & electronics companies too prefer this branch during placements.

Most of the faculties are south Indian. I have seen the professors here having high thinking and living simple life. They all were experienced and approachable. They would encourage students to do all different kind of projects and classes. I found very nice experienced female professors and they were comparatively easy to approach.

Placement is something which is an added point of MIT Manipal. A number of companies come for placement. Most of the IT companies of Bengaluru come for placements. For Mechanical as well, very known automobile companies come and they offer very good salary packages. So in whichever stream you are, you will definitely get good job opportunities.

One of the best things about our college was our hostel facilities. The rooms are very good and pleasant. Hostel charges are on higher side as the facilities are standard. Single and twin sharing rooms are there. In fact there were AC rooms too. Because MIT has NRI students hence AC rooms too are fully occupied. Hostels floors, surroundings are always clean. Canteens are clean and spacious.

When it comes to infrastructure MAHE has always kept this in its priority lists. Be it its academy building, hostels or library. Each and every building is made with proper concept and plans. The library itself is big and modernized. It is very spacious and well equipped. MIT always stands out in crowd when it comes to infrastructure. Manipal itself is a small but well developed town and an awesome place to have a lifetime experience.

Campus life is so lively that you create lifetime memories there. During fests the college campus becomes so happening that everyone is happily occupied and participates in different activities. Everyone simply enjoys those days. Many different student bands participate in some of the fests. Be it Holi or Diwali all celebrate it together. You will find students from every part of India. Of course living in Manipal is expensive but at the same time you are going to have the best experiences of life.
