For admission into IIT Mandi, you have many options. For admission into 4 year B.Tech programs you have to write your JEE Advanced exam. Other courses like the 5 year integrated MBA program you have to give interview. Other programs like dual degree B.Tech+M.Tech are also there. Ph.D, B.Sc, M.Sc are also present at the institute. So, there are plenty of streams and disciplines to harbor different types of minds, ultimately providing you with diversity of knowledge and wisdom.

Usually held in the spring, usually around March or April, ‘Exodia’ attracts participation from colleges across India. ‘Rann-neeti’ is the annual sports festival of the institute, usually held in October or November. It focuses on bringing out the competitive spirit in students and promotes sportsmanship. It is one of the most anticipated events for sports enthusiasts at IIT Mandi. ‘Avishkar’ is IIT Mandi’s annual tech fest, aimed at fostering innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship. ‘Nimbus’ is another flagship tech fest, focusing on innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. Litfest is literary fest, celebrating literature, poetry, and the arts.
