A Realistic review on NITK, Surathkal

Overall Rating
Our Campus is one of the most prestigious institutes. It has a very good NIRF ranking. Out of all NITs, I opted for this one because of its infrastructure and good placement opportunities at national and international level. I would always suggest my institute to others.
 

Academics Rating
I am currently pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering at National Institute of Technology, Surathkal. I am a third year student. The academic curriculum is exclusively designed to prepare us as per the industry requirements.
 

Faculty Rating
The Professors in our institute are well qualified. Almost all the faculty members are Ph.D holders. They help us in understanding the concepts very clearly without any confusion. The resources provided by them are also very good.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, We have a Placement Cell at our institute which is in the Career Development Center. It really helps the students to acquire jobs in the corporate world according to their field.
 

Hostel Rating
We have residential, semi-residential hostel facilities in our institute. The hostel has excellent infrastructure, facilities, and recreational activities that are provided to hostellers.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our Campus is very huge and surrounded by greenery and is developed on around 300 acres of land. All the required facilities are available inside the campus. We have amenities like academic blocks, bank with ATM, shopping malls for students and staff, hospital, guest rooms, etc.
 

Campus Rating
Incident, Crescendo, Annual day, etc are some of the famous and mostly celebrated fests in our campus. Celebrities, Cricket Players, Singers, etc visits our institute to perform in fests. We have around twenty five student Clubs in our institute and students can join any of the club irrespective of their department.

    My experience at National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal is great. There are a lot of things to do in this institute. Other than academic work it provides lots of other opportunities and activities for the student such as sports, singing and many other things.     NITK Surathkal is one of the most precious institutes. After admission, I love it very much. Firstly, the infrastructure is superb. The academic structure is also very good and is upgrading day by day with this modern world. The fee structure is very affordable. One special factor is that it has its own private beach.     I am currently a 2nd year student in B.Tech EEE branch at NITK. So coming into this institute was never decided. The story begins with a student preparing for IIT did well in MAINS have CRL 7384 but then bored and messed up in ADVANCE and ends up with a bad rank. From the ADVANCE rank I was not able to get to a good IIT so decide going for NIT instead.     NITK is the second ranked NIT after NIT Trichy. Its teachers, alumni and students make it a college worth studying in.
