My genuine opinion on University of Allahabad (Faculty of Law)

Overall Rating
University of Allahabad is one of the topmost Central Universities in India. The most important reason why I opted for the University was because the faculty members of the university are the best. The staffs are cooperative and also the security guards. The seniors also help you in advancing your career. The teachers are helpful and will show you the right path after LL.B. They will also provide many Internships and Training programs and conduct moot court to build your personality and equip you with knowledge about the current trends.
 

Academics Rating
Firstly, if want to take admission in University of Allahabad to pursue LL.B, then you have to crack the entrance test that is conducted by the university itself. You will be eligible for LL.B after completing your Graduation; and you can opt for B.A LL.B if you have just completed your 12th. If you want to become a good lawyer or want to prepare for judiciary exams, then you can take your admission in University of Allahabad [Law Faculty] for better guidance.
 

Faculty Rating
The teachers here are the best. Many of them are from NLU or from Kota and believe me you will love their teaching style. They are cooperative and of kind nature. You can resolve any of your queries after class and they love to help their students which I love the most about them. Sometimes they are strict but it’s for our own good.
 

Placement Rating
No, University of Allahabad [Faculty of Law] does not give placements; but they train you to become good advocates. Moot court programs are also organised so that the students can improve their skills and knowledge. They will show you the right path, but you have to work hard on your own.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are hostels for Law students and also, the university has 6 to 7 hostels. The fee of hostel is about Rs. 50,000/- per year which includes room and food facilities. They also take care of cleanliness and laundry; the only thing you have to do is study.
 

Infrastructure Rating
University of Allahabad is also known as Oxford of East. It is a bit old but is well maintained; and the look of university is really soothing to the eyes. Green peaceful environment is provided by the university. Almost every facility is available for the students.
 

Campus Rating
As every student’s life is full of competition so, our university life shows us the real competition because every student has their own set of skill sets and talents. We meet various kinds of friends with many skills who also help us to develop our thoughts and aspirations. But our university has a friendly environment, and you will love to be the part of University of Allahabad.

    I am in BA LLB program at the University of Allahabad which was erstwhile regarded as the Oxford of East. You could get admission through CUET exam and you have to score decent marks for getting a seat in BA LLB at Allahabad University because it's one of the most demanding courses of AU.     The University of Allahabad is one of the most leading central universities, where students are admitted based on their CUET marks. Here, I will review the Law faculty of this university. Overall, the department stands as a distinguished part of the university. The Law faculty produces excellent alumni which are evident through the UP PCS J results.     After coming to this university, my overall experience has been very good. teachers are very helpful. Surroundings of Allahabad University are very study friendly. I chose this university because I have to prepare for civil services and in this university, there is concept of yearly exams. This allows students like me to prepare for other exams as well.     The overall experience in University of Allahabad is average. It is a central university so the infrastructure is good. The schedule is hectic and the faculty is highly qualified. The factor made me choose this particular institute is my IIT JAM exam preparation. The syllabus of this university is good.
