A Brief Review About IIT, Varanasi

Overall Rating
Overall IIT BHU is good in terms of placement from every other IIT. You should definitely put some good choices in counseling and put some good branches. You should definitely come here because the infrastructure is very good and the faculty is best. Facilities available in the classroom are also great here.
 

Academics Rating
Academics here are very chill. If you compare with IIT Kanpur where academics are very tough and the students struggled to score good marks here you can easily score good marks just by studying 2 to 3 hours a day. After that you could also participate in various activities and competitions which help you in your overall development.
 

Faculty Rating
I have no words about the second year. There are top 2% of the world scientists who are ready to teach students here. They are very humble and helpful. They have a lot of knowledge. they are scholars in their fields of research. They also teach you in your regional language. If you are not comfortable with the language your teacher is teaching in then you could definitely ask him to change the language. The teachers here have rich experiences.
 

Placement Rating
I have no words for the placement statistics. Here the average package would be around 28 LPA. The highest package was 2.68 crore per annum in 2022. It also comes at second place in terms of placement as compared to all the IIT in India. You could definitely consider this institute due to the placements it offers.
 

Hostel Rating
They have 14 hostels in their campus. The hostels are very clean. The hostel wardens are really nice and very supportive. The hostel closes about 10 pm in the night for 1st year. For 2nd, 3rd and 4th year the hostel is open full night. There are different facilities like canteen and recreation rooms where you can play table tennis, carom, chess and various other board games. Now you can also check out for the washing machine facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Here are some cultural buildings and heritage buildings. Also as the institute was established in 1919, so there are various buildings. We have a big temple Vishwanath Temple of Shiva, where you can worship. Also, here are incubation centers, libraries, workshops and the building are really clean and looks very good from the outside.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is great here because there are various fests and there are various DJ nights, sports activity and, cultural activities. the campus is whopping in 1300 acres where you could all enjoy with your friends more over the college allows you to take your vehicles in the campus from second year.

    IIT BHU is currently ranked 10 in NIRF ranking 2024. The college has very good environment for academics and personal development. So many clubs and societies are there to help a student in his / her extracurricular growth. The college has tech clubs like aero modeling, robotics, coding club, and more.     The overall experience at IIT BHU is like dream fulfilling, had a rigorous curriculum, research opportunities and highly educated faculties for the academics. I really like the sports facilities offered by the institute and joyful & memorable experiences at the festivals.
