Bangalore Institute of Technology - telecommunications review

Overall Rating
The Institute is good if you want to pursue engineering from a good Institute in Bangalore. Placement is good too. Institute is located in the middle of the city and the campus is compact. Hostel and the faculty are also good. You can take admission if you are looking for a decent Institute in Bangalore.
 

Academics Rating
To get admission in this course you need to write COMEDY or KCET exam and get a good rank. After that you need to attend counseling to select the course. Fee is not that high and overall Institute is good. Scholarship is also provided to Karnataka students and prices and awards are given to rank holders.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty of my department was good. Some internal politics exists but it doesn't bother us. Labs are good with well equipped machines and devices. Style of teaching is old with text books and teachers are well qualified. The teachers should start adopting modern teaching style so that the subjects and course becomes interesting.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell and a student can take 2 offers with them. Multiple companies visit Institute for placement and after placement you need to pay the placement cell.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel for girls is 7km far from Institute. Bus is provided for pick up and drop service. Food is good in hostel and snacks are also provided. Hostel day is celebrated and yummy food is served on that day.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There is only one main block that consist almost all departments. Only mechanical block is separate and it's huge for that branch. Building has 8 floors and each floor has different branches. 2 canteens and 2 Xerox shops are available. Overall Institute is good to study in and get good placements.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is bit boring as campus is compact. No grounds for sports activities. Fests are okay and other events are also good in the campus. Other engagement activities include various clubs like Rotaract club, sports club, Leo club, photography club, dance club, Ted x club, etc.

    Bangalore Institute of Technology is one of the top ranked colleges of Karnataka, and for good reason. The staff is extremely welcoming and supportive, helping students with their studies far beyond what is written in the books. As students, we are encouraged to write academic papers, even in first year.   • Magical fests at Bangalore Institute of Technology

    Our Institute is located in the heart of the city and you can commute through BMTC buses or metro. The institute doesn't have much space for sports and some of the instruments for branches like Mechanical might not work but the labs are maintained well.... Read Full Review

    Bangalore Institute of Technology is on the top colleges in Karnataka under Visvesvaraya Technical University. This college is located in the city centre and makes the transportation easy. The faculty here is also good. The fests are done once in often and there are multiple clubs to encourage the student’s desire. The labs, library and the sports management are well equipped.
