Vellore Institute of Technology is an amazing institute for your overall development

Overall Rating
The institute is amazing, having diverse and intellectual faculties who are well qualified. There are a lot of other advantages related to job placement. The institute offers many facilities to aid our overall development. I personally made a lot of friends from different states. Whatever you are talented in, you’ll have a club here for you to showcase it in several programs. So overall, campus life in VIT is pretty good.
 

Academics Rating
Candidates must pass 12th grade with PCM for taking admission in CSE course & Biotech they should have qualified 12th grade with PCB. For M.Tech, M.Sc, B.Sc, BCA and Commerce courses, only passing marks in the last qualifying examination is required and there is no entrance exam for admissions. For B.Tech, we have to qualify VITEEE exam.
 

Faculty Rating
All faculties come from different states and some from different countries too. The teaching style differs for each one of them. The faculties are indeed highly qualified and know their subjects deeply. Most faculties teach extremely clear & precisely and help you with other things regarding career and projects.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have placements opportunities facilitated by the Institute.
 

Hostel Rating
We do have hostels; but since I’m a day scholar I don’t have much information to add. As far as I’ve heard the hostel rooms are really good, and food is also tasty.
 

Infrastructure Rating
VIT campus is actually several kilometers from the main city centre. We have different courses being conducted in different buildings of the campus. Main buildings are MB, GDN, CDMM, SMV, CBMR, TT, SJT and Gandhi blocks.
 

Campus Rating
Our institute has 2 huge festivals called GraVITas and Rivera. GraVITas is where all clubs show their talents and conduct several competitions. The students completely take in charge of GraVITas; we also have food stalls, and something called Expo where they invite us to the competitions of each club. In Rivera we have something called Pro Shows for 4 days. In that, celebrities are invited to perform, and a lot more inter institute competitions are also conducted. It is one of the best time one students can spend at VIT.

    My overall experience was very interesting. The crowd is very diverse, and the experience is very eventful. Events are happening throughout the year in the Institute. You get to network with people from all around the world and the faculty is very learned and helpful. Vellore Institute of Technology is extremely reputed and has existed for over 35 years.     Overall VIT Vellore is a great choice, as it met my expectations with its cool infrastructure and better education facilities. There is great exposure of academics and nightlife here. You will be given FFCS (fully flexible credential system) where you can choose your timetable and select faculties.
