Positive experience at Gargi College

Overall Rating
My overall experience at Gargi College, DU is amazing. I am very happy to take admission here; the academic curriculum is very comprehensive and relevant. The fee is affordable for the students and the infrastructure is quite decent. The faculties are a big reason for the success of this college. There are multiple societies and clubs for the overall development of the students.
 

Academics Rating
The academic structure of the college is perfect for the students. The course structure is designed for the students in such a way that they can easily learn. They focus on both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of business and finance. The curriculum is designed to be flexible for the students. The basic requirements for admission are 75% in 12th and the cut off set by the college should be cleared by the students.
 

Faculty Rating
We have the best faculties who are all highly qualified. Teachers are the best mentors for the students and are easy to approach. The teacher to student ratio is 1 teacher for every 20 students. The teaching style of the teachers is good and gives real life examples to make us understand the topics better. The faculties prefer interactive learning and provide multiple online resources to the students.
 

Placement Rating
The placement records are very impressive. We have a Placement Cell in our college that helps students to get job opportunities and prepare them for their professional careers. The Placement Cell uses their industry connection to bring the job opportunities to the campus. The recruitment drives are done in various sectors such as finance, consulting and accounting. Placement Cell provides support for resume building, interview preparations and soft-skill development.
 

Hostel Rating
The college has multiple hostels with all the facilities and amenities for the students. The hostels are safe and secure for the students. It has laundry services and cleanliness services as well. The food quality of the mess is also very good. They maintain hygiene in food preparation. There are different sharing rooms and common areas including washrooms, gym and playing area. They also have Wi-Fi facilities in the hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college is well-maintained in terms of infrastructure. There are classrooms with smart boards and projectors. The campus has different blocks, buildings, lecture halls, cafeteria, seminar halls and auditoriums for the students. The entire campus has Wi-Fi availability and libraries have all types of books and resources for the students. There are different grounds for the students.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life of students is memorable. The College organizes multiple fests for the students and celebrates different festivals. There are different clubs and societies for the overall development of the students. Sports competitions are also held in the college.

    Being a part of Gargi College felt surreal and overwhelming as it is a prestigious part of the South Campus of University of Delhi. It offers a variety of Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses.
