Student’s Life at Gargi College New Delhi

Overall Rating
So far, I have really enjoyed the life at Gargi College New Delhi. I thought a girl’s College won't be fun but it's really fun here. Societies here at the College are really good, whether it's a cultural or professional society. Speaking about the campus, it's genuinely a beautiful place filled with a lot of flora and fauna. I choose this College as it was quite popular and good College. One thing that I really like about this College is the freedom it offers to the students studying here in respect to the clothes they can wear.
 

Academics Rating
I am from Science background but Economics and Commerce attracted me a lot. The eligibility for getting into the College is by CUET entrance. Admission process is very easy. You just have to give CUET and pass 12th with 50% if you are a general category student and 45% if you are a SC / ST student. Teachers here take regular test and also there are semester end exams. There have been changes in the curriculum due to the NEP, which makes the academic curriculum of the College highly relevant.
The fee of B.Com is around Rs. 19,000/- for a year which is paid at the time of admission. You have to pay exam fees after getting into College. Financial aids to the eligible students are also provided by the College.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty here is really good and cooperative. They have a good experience of teaching and are updated to new things. They use PPTs and blackboards for teaching. They are really good at solving problems. There are around 60 students in per section for my course. If you need help any help from the faculty members, you can directly contact them. They are very cooperative and helpful. They will surely help you with your doubts and other issues that you will be facing.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is placement cell society available in my College which has good connection. You can make become a part of the placement cell in first year or even in the second year of your course. But if you are in placement cell of our College, you can't get into other societies as it’s genuinely hectic and you won't be able to handle being a part of other societies. Deloitte, Zomato, etc. have recruited. The highest package is 23 LPA and the median is 4 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
No, Gargi College New Delhi doesn’t provide residential facilities but you will find a lot of PGs and hostels nearby the College which offer facilities like spacious rooms, food, laundry and safety, all at one place.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is really good and has structured academic blocks. Campus size is quite good and the locality is beautiful. The classroom is huge and can accommodate a lot of students in one go. Academic facilities like a beautiful library, labs, auditorium, basements, etc. are there. Canteen serves a variety of snacks and beverages to the students. The campus got facilities for sports like Basketball, Football, etc. The campus is filled with beautiful gardens having pretty flowers. Students here would easily be able to witness peacocks too in the campus. The infrastructure overall is good.
 

Campus Rating
I genuinely enjoy my campus life alot. The crowd here is combined of all types. Students including the seniors are generally kind and helpful. There are a lot of societies in which you can enroll to gain a lot of experience and learn new things. It will also help you enjoy your College life. There are many extracurricular activities going on organised by different societies. Fests and events are really fun here. My experience is overall excellent.
