Gargi College: College with Striking Infrastructure

Overall Rating
Gargi College of DU is next level. For Gargi, the cut off was 770 and I had a score that could get me admissions here and hence I am here today. The best part is we do not come under any campus where the crowd of other colleges influences otherwise.
 

Academics Rating
BA program with no particular specialization means that we can have any electives. Like I had the option between Hindi and Sanskrit and I chose the latter. We are taught as well as anyone and attendance is super tight here. If we don't have 75%, attendance, the college doesn't care that we are their students and it might influence the results at university level. They just don't allow us to sit for internals and our 30 marks are gone straightaway.
Just Rs. 19,000 is what student of general category has to pay yearly for BA program.
 

Faculty Rating
Is it a good thing or a bad thing I don't know but it's an all girl’s college and even 80 to 85% professors are also women. This doesn't take away their credibility though as all our faculties are PhD and are like geniuses of their domain. All our professors are into research and have many patented researches in their name. Even the literature professors have publications and articles published under their names.
 

Placement Rating
Regardless of course, the college ensures that maximum students from Gargi get placements. From FMCG to Media Houses, we have companies of many sectors coming to our college for recruitment.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our college is just too good and infrastructure is excellent. The best part is that we mostly walk to the campus from Green Park Metro station. We also have Ansal Plaza close to our campus so enough of hangout places too around our campus. Talking about what we have inside the campus, we have many blocks and even we have a huge block of auditorium as well. Gardens all throughout ensures that we enjoy fresh air at least while we are at the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Our campus life is amazing as it's an all girl’s college as it does give an extra sense of security. Students handle all the societies and I myself is a part of some of them. Our annual fest Reverie has seen artists come and perform at our campus. Traditional day and likewise many such events are hosted at our campus but still one complain that students here are too much into studies and therefore we have to push students to participate in events.

    Being a part of Gargi College felt surreal and overwhelming as it is a prestigious part of the South Campus of University of Delhi. It offers a variety of Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses.
