My Experience in Gargi College New Delhi

Overall Rating
My time in Gargi College has been full of experience and growth. I am very satisfied with all the societies and culture. One of my senior recommended me this College that’s why I took admission here. Apart from the academics, they focus on building the confidence of the students. They provide various opportunities which I find very inspiring and helpful for personal development.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing Bachelor of Commerce in this College. I chose this course to build a strong foundation in Finance. For admission in this College, the students need to qualify CUET exam and score well. This course is divided into six semesters and 2 semester exams held each year. Many of the subjects are based on practical learning which helps in understanding concepts. Highest Package of the College is 25 LPA.
The fee structure of my course is around Rs.18,000 per year/- and it may increase over time. The fee is affordable as compared to other Colleges. This College is great for students who are looking for quality education without spending so much on the fee.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of Gargi College are quite experienced and good. Each subject is taught by a different teacher. Most of the teachers have strong academic background. The teaching method includes PPTs, blackboard, GD, etc. The teachers are helpful and also encourage students. They always solve the doubts of the students.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the College has placement cell which is very active and supportive. They organises Boot Camp, Orientation Session, and Skill Building workshop on regular basis. They help students in finding internships and placements. Companies like the Deloitte, Zomato, and Bank of America visit our campus for recruitment. The average package is 4 LPA to 5 LPA. The cell really helps students and prepares them for industry roles.
 

Hostel Rating
No, our College doesn’t provide any hostel facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of this College is quite good and student friendly. The campus has separate academic block for different departments. The classrooms are spacious with good sitting capacity. The campus has library, labs, auditorium, seminar hall, medical room, sports facilities, etc. The College also has canteen facilities which provide good and affordable food. My favorite place is Nescafe where students can relax.
 

Campus Rating
So far my overall campus life has been very good and I have enjoyed a lot. The crowd of this College is actually very nice. There are various societies such as Enactus, Commerce Association, Physics society, etc. They organise an annual fest called Reverie which is very amazing fest of our College. I made unforgettable memories in this College.

    Being a part of Gargi College felt surreal and overwhelming as it is a prestigious part of the South Campus of University of Delhi. It offers a variety of Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses.
