Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies (MAIMS) is an institute located in sector 22 of Rohini, Delhi. It was one of the first institutes to get affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The campus is spread around 9 acres and has many amenities for the students like sports, societies, gym, libraries and canteens.

Every course has its own requirements and there are basically two ways to get admitted into MAIMS, first is via your CUET test scores and the second, which is how most students get admitted is via your CET test rank which is a specialised test conducted by GGSIP University for its own colleges. The minimum eligibility for BBA is that the candidate should have passed 12th grade with minimum 50% aggregate marks and should have studied English as one of the subjects. The admission to any particular college depends on the candidate's CET rank and CUET score and his/her preference.

The institute follows a standardised grading system that means there is no relative grading and the professors are both friendly and strict, depending on how you build your relation with them. Each department has many professors specifically dedicated to that department but it's very much possible to get to know and work with professors of other departments. They don't usually involve themselves with societies because most of them are managed by the students but they do provide their suggestions to the students. The professors are nice and helpful and have a well rounded clarity of their core subject. Most of the professors have a doctorate for their subject.

There is a Training and Placement Cell in the college for each department like BBA, BA (J&MC), etc. All the placement cells are very active, but this review is for BBA specific only. The BBA Placement Cell is very active at providing necessary information to the students, conducting field visits to different companies and organising regular seminars. Internship opportunities are usually given to 2nd year students and there is actually not a lot of data regarding BBA placements but last year's placements records were somewhere between 3 LPA to 7 LPA.

The college has hostel facilities but it is for boys only. The average fee for the hostel depends on the type of room a student wants. For instance, a single person who has an AC room will have a higher fee than 4 people in an AC room. The hostel includes 4 blocks and has a mess for each one of them. It provides basic facilities for sports, gym, stationery, etc.

The campus is built around an area of 9 acres and has 11 working blocks, 10 of them are dedicated for academic purposes which includes the B. Tech blocks as well. However, each course takes a different position in classification, for e.g. the BBA department has 3 floors dedicated to it. Basic amenities are provided in all the blocks, and the structure is pretty simple and easy to navigate.

The best thing about any college is its campus life. There are numerous activities going on throughout the year including fests, events, tournaments and what not. There are a lot of student run societies in the institute, each having its own selection process which any student can join. There are a lot of sports facilities within the college including basketball, football, cricket, track field, volleyball and badminton. The best part about this college is its canteen system. There are a total of 5 canteens currently spread throughout the campus and the location of the canteen can easily be found. The canteens serve all kinds of foods, and each one has its own specialty. The assumption of crowd can vary from person to person but most of the students get admission based on their test rank so one must be ready for some tough academic competition. The societies bring out a lot of opportunities to grow in your area of interest which can range from social entrepreneurship to dance, music and all the way to investments and stock markets. All in there at MAIMS where there are tons of opportunities to grow and explore your interests.
