Army Institute of Technology (AIT) provides high-quality education with knowledgeable professors who assist students with projects, internships, and placements. The institute creates a friendly environment where students help and support each other throughout the course in every way possible. AIT promotes development of both academics and extracurricular activities. Students whose parents are in army can only be admitted here and due to this, students from all over the country join this institute, so there is high diversity.

Next year, our institute will be independent, meaning it will be autonomous. Every semester, two exams and practicals happen. The first is in-semester exam, and the second one is end-semester exams with marks worth 30 and 70, respectively. We also have internals and viva examinations. Our institute is currently following 2019 SPPU pattern. In every semester, there are one or two subjects that you may find challenging, but you can easily beat it with hard work and little support.

The professors are excellent and experienced. Some of them even have experience of more than 20 years. They are like backbone, helping you with projects, syllabus, internships, and placements. They are supportive and help students with every problem student’s face. They are updated with events and competitions happening outside of our institute, and motivate the students to take part in it.

The placements are average. We have a placement cell, which works hard to ensure that every student in AIT is placed with high-packages. 95% of students were placed last year, which includes both on-campus and off-campus. Last year's highest on-campus placement was around 20 LPA. The top recruiting companies are MasterCard, ZS Associates, Oracle, and Deloitte. Internship opportunities at AIT are not up to the mark. This year, placements are still going on. Placements at AIT also depend upon the branch you are in, If you belong to CS or IT, there is a high chance you will be placed early and with a good package. Other branches need to work a little harder.

Hostels are available for both boy’s and girl are, pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees in the Army institute of Technology. Total capacity of hostels is around 1300 out of which 1150 are for boys and others are for girls. Name of the hostels are Abdul Kalam, Vishwesariya, Homi Bhabha, Sarabhai, SN Bose, Ramanujan and Captain Gurubir Singh. Rooms have following facilities: Wi-Fi with decent speed, tube light, chairs, cupboards, bookshelf, bed, etc. RO purified water is available on all the floors along with solar water heater supported with electrical water heater. Overall, hostel facilities are good at AIT.

The infrastructure is decent. Recreational room in every hostel is available where students can play various games like, chess, carom, Pool, Foosball. The gymnasium is available with all the types of equipment, and 24/7 Medical assistance is also here. The sports department at the institute is well equipped. Indoor games such as badminton, squash, table tennis, chess, and yoga are played in our institute's multipurpose hall. There are two hard courts for basketball, one hard court for tennis, one cement cricket pitch, and one ground for each of football, cricket, and volleyball are present. Sports activities are scheduled from 6 to 8 AM and from 5 to 7 PM. The library at AIT is well stocked with books, printed journals from throughout the country, and electronic resources. There are 150 seats available in the cutting-edge, air-conditioned reading hall with Wi-Fi.

AIT is a great place to spend your institute life and make amazing friends. You will experience a welcoming atmosphere by seniors of course. Seniors support you academically and technically and in any other way, you desire. Rules and regulations can be bit lenient. Every year, a variety of fests, such as ‘Aakriti’ and ‘Pace’ are organized for cultural and sports events respectively. Inter-branch tournaments are eminent part of Pace. Competitive programming is really appreciated in this institute, so if you have a keen interest in programming, this is your dream institute. In addition, there are various clubs, which you can be part of. They will help you to o improve your soft skills and confidence. This institute never gets boring. You always have something in your hand to do.
