I came to know about Army Institute of Technology through one of my faculty members who taught me in my entrance coaching. Later, I searched about the college and went through their own website. The college's official website consists of all the information regarding admission process, fees structure, placements details, etc. Since my father was from the army, I felt like this will be the best option for me as this college will be safe and secure while studying, as well as for placements.

Army Institute of Technology offers five Bachelor of Engineering courses in the following fields- Computer, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, Mechanical, and Robotics and Automation. Only wards of army personals are allotted seats in this college. The admission will be purely based on our JEE Main rank. They start to take the applications from students February onwards. As my father was also from army background, my family too thought it would be good for me as it will help me live in a disciplined atmosphere.

Army Institute of Technology is affiliated with Savitribai Phule University (Pune University). So, the academic curriculum and exams are based on the syllabus approved by Pune University. Every year is divided into two semesters and in each semester, there will be one in-sem exam and one end-sem exam. Mostly, all the faculty members are good enough in their subjects and their teaching method is also fine.

Yes, Army Institute of Technology does have a Placement Cell in the college. This Placement Cell plays a crucial role in bringing new companies to our college for internships and placements every year. The head of the Placement Cell is always in touch with the HR Department of various companies which helps improve the placement rate every year. The average salary package is about 10 LPA and about 90% of the students get placed in good companies.

Army Institute of Technology has hostels. Each year students have a different hostel which helps to avoid ragging. Hostel is compulsory for the first year students. From second year onwards, hostel is allotted to students on the basis of their CGPA. Rooms and toilets are always kept clean by the staff. First year hostel does not have any recreational activities but second, third, and fourth year hostels have pool tables, table tennis, and carrom boards.

The building of Army Institute of Technology is pretty old but still in a good and strong shape as the management maintains it properly. It has good space in the academic blocks. Each floor has restrooms for gents and ladies. The structure of college is similar to a V shape. The hostel buildings are also maintained properly. Now, new buildings are being constructed for different labs and clubs.

The campus life is pretty good. Seniors are also very friendly. There are more than 20 clubs in our college like Robotics Club, OSS, E-Cell, EV Club, NSS, NCC, and many more. Different fests and events associated to different clubs are organised every month. The major fest in our college lasts for about 1 week which is a combination of cultural, sports, and technical events. Guests from different fields are invited and students from different colleges come here to participate in it.
