Army Institute of Technology Pune Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Talking about the infrastructure of the college, the college has separate academic block, library, and the hostel. In the laboratories of the college, all the equipments are present which are required for the experiments during the course. The college has all the facilities for sports available like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, kabaddi, boxing, badminton court, etc., and all the sports equipment is present in the college. The college has one shopping complex in which all necessary items are present; juice shop, canteen, and barber shop are all present.

My experience of campus life has been amazing. There are many clubs in the college like nature, sports, technical board, spiritual, etc. Around 25 clubs are present for the students and these clubs are also run by the students. The evening time of the campus is amazing as the college is full of greenery. The building of Army Institute of Technology is pretty old but still in a good and strong shape as the management maintains it properly. It has good space in the academic blocks. Each floor has restrooms for gents and ladies. The structure of college is similar to a V shape. The hostel buildings are also maintained properly. Now, new buildings are being constructed for different labs and clubs.

The campus life is pretty good. Seniors are also very friendly. There are more than 20 clubs in our college like Robotics Club, OSS, E-Cell, EV Club, NSS, NCC, and many more. Different fests and events associated to different clubs are organised every month. The major fest in our college lasts for about 1 week which is a combination of cultural, sports, and technical events. The campus is spread across 30 acres with a very well designed layout. AIT has most of the sports facilities like indoor badminton court, squash, lawn tennis, football, kabaddi mats, cricket, and overall 13-15 major sports facilities. AIT has its own canteen, grocery shop, juice shop, stationary shop, and a food court. Whole academic block has Wi-Fi access.

AIT has a very unique crowd, all of them having military family background and they are very disciplined. The senior-junior bonding is very strong; seniors help in every aspect. AIT has a total of 32 student run clubs which include sports, technical and cultural boards, spiritual, cycling, nature, game development, internet security, OSS, DDQ, Magboard, etc. which help in overall grooming. AIT also hosts Pune's biggest sports event called Pace in which colleges in and around Pune take part.
