Life at LPU is very happening and it is like a mini town in itself. There are people from all over the world here. You will not be bored because there is so much to do here. Many events happen every day, you can take part in those, or there are many places to chill here within the campus. You will not feel the need to go outside. The campus is very safe. There are guards within 300-400 meter radius everywhere and any misconduct can land the person a heavy punishment so you can feel secure. The placement record in the field of CSE and many other fields is very good. I chose this university for the same reason and you should too.

Academics wise, I would say it depends on teacher and how they are teaching. Most of the teachers here are hardworking and have very good teaching methods. To get admission, you can visit the university admission block or apply online through LPU website. If you want scholarship, you can give the LPUNEST exam or if you have any academic achievement like JEE entrance score or any national entrance exam score, board exam results are good then you can get scholarship based on that too. Eligibility criterion is to have above 75% marks in PCM subjects if you want to take admission in B.Tech CSE.

Most of the Faculty members are very nice and approachable. They have good teaching methods to make it easy for students to learn. LPU has made it easy for students to approach their respective teachers in case of any queries or emergent situations by providing the cabin and seat number of the teachers in staff rooms. Each student is provided a mentor too for his/her guidance and resolves the issues of students. You can even contact your HOD. All the details are provided in your student account.

Placement record of LPU has been good especially in CSE field. That is why those who want to study in this field mostly choose LPU after the government institutions. The placement cell provides guidance whenever you need it and sends you regular messages if good companies are holding their placement exams here so you do not miss out on any opportunity.

Yes, we do have residential facilities in our institute. You can opt for non-standard rooms, standard rooms, apartment etc. as per your convenience. There are many facilities in the hostel like each room has its own personal washroom, geyser, study table, almirah, bed, chair, cooler or AC as you wish. House staff comes to clean room every other day. In case you need any other help, you can contact the warden or raise an RMS of the issue. There is mess facility in the hostel and if you do not want to take mess, you can go for hostel canteen too. There is a general store in the hostel, you can avail the laundry facility, and there is a salon inside the hostel too. Most of the hostels even have ATM machines too.

The campus is huge, it is spread around 600-700 acres. There is a unit health centre, GYM, sports complex, swimming pool, play courts, food courts, a mall, and helipad, all within the campus only. Therefore, you will not feel the need to go outside. You can get anything within the campus itself. There is a huge central library, with variety of books, be it novels or academic.

There is a huge crowd here in LPU, which is why you will never feel alone. You will meet people from different cultures and countries. Many fests and events are organized every now and then, like one India, one world, youth festival, and Spectra. You can take part in them and you can be a part of various clubs too.
