My experience at Rajasthan University

Overall Rating
I'm pursuing B.Com in commerce college which comes under Rajasthan University. I chose this university because I'm pursuing a professional degree along with it and it offers an option for distance education. If someone is pursuing any professional course and wants to pursue distance education, then you can opt for this university.
 

Academics Rating
Admission in Rajasthan University is done on the basis of merit list which is based on 12th class percentage. One can only take entry in Rajasthan University after completing their senior secondary schooling. The motive for enrollment in B.Com is that I'm from commerce background and I wanted to study this subject further.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is not up the mark as there should be an improvement in terms of considering students’ doubts and solving them.
 

Placement Rating
No
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, it has a hostel facility but I'm not a hosteller as I was born and brought up in Jaipur itself.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The buildings of the university are decent but the furniture in the classes is not that great. Academic blocks are divided in separate sections for each department like arts, commerce, science, history, geography, etc. The campus is well maintained though.
 

Campus Rating
I'm not a regular student but I heard from my friends regarding different campaigns, sports events, etc. So I can say that the university is pretty decent in certain activities. The sports quota is there and there are many sports facilities.

    This is the number one University of Rajasthan. Its geographical condition is good but it just needs some improvement in its building structure.     Considering that fact that this university is regarded as one of the most prestigious institutions of the state, University of Rajasthan offers a vast variety of options to explore upon for students like me. University of Rajasthan is indeed an amazing place for you to shine in all areas necessary for your overall development and growth as students.   • UNIRAJ Jaipur Cost-Effective Fee Structure

    University life is average. The placement opportunities are less here but it gives good knowledge about subjects. Students are mostly from Jaipur so less diversity of students. Guards and CCTV cameras are there for security purpose. I will suggest this university if you want to pursue graduation degrees and not professional degrees.     My experience in University of Rajasthan is quite decent, however did had few backlashes in terms of quality education. The courses which I took included accounting, finance and business studies related subjects, which were taught by knowledgeable facilities, even though they may not cooperate, at times.
